SSC CGL Tier 1 Answer Key 2024: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has published the tentative answer key for the SSC CGL 2024 Tier 1 Exam in online mode. Candidates can access the SSC CGL Answer Key PDF by visiting the official website - ssc.gov.in, and logging in with their registration number and password. Candidates can challenge the provisional answer key till October 6, 2024 (6 PM) through the official website.

The answer key helps candidates to self assess their performance in the SSC CGL Exam. Candidates can submit their objections against the provisional answer key via the online challenge facility available on the official SSC website. A fee of Rs 100 per question is required to submit a challenge. 

To calculate their accurate scores using the SSC CGL answer key, students should be familiar with the marking scheme. For every incorrect answer, 0.5 marks are deducted as negative marking. For instance, if a candidate attempts 95 out of 100 questions, and 5 of those are incorrect, a total of 12.5 marks will be deducted from their score.

SSC CGL Answer Key 2024: How to calculate the marks?

The SSC CGL Answer Key 2024 is a great tool for estimating a candidate’s performance. Candidates can use it to calculate their SSC CGL scores. To calculate the SSC CGL scores, one must be familiarised with the marking scheme. The SSC CGL marking scheme rewards 2 marks for each correct answer and deducts 0.5 marks for every wrong answer. The maximum marks that can be obtained are 200.
