CTET Cut-Off 2024 refers to the minimum qualifying marks a candidate needs to secure in order to clear the teacher eligibility exam. This year, the minimum qualifying percentage for unreserved candidates is 60%. Meanwhile, the minimum percentage for reserved candidates is 55%. The CTET exam 2024 was concluded on January 21, 2024. The result and answer key for the same are released at the official website.  Further, candidates must know that they need to obtain the official cut off score to qualify for the examination. 

The CTET exam is conducted by CBSE and the exam consists of two papers. While CTET paper I is for those candidates who wish to become teachers for classes 1 to 5, paper II is for those candidates who wish to become teachers for classes 6 to 8.  Both papers consist of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) of 1 mark each. Candidates who belong to the general category need to score 90 marks to qualify for the exam, whereas candidates from the SC/ST/OBC category need to score 82 marks to qualify the CTET exam. 

Apart from CTET results and cut-off, the education body also releases the answer key. There are two types of answer keys.  While the first one is the provisional answer key and the final answer key. In the CTET 2024 exam, a total of 26,93,526 candidates registered for the CTET exam.

CTET Exam 2024: Cut-Off 

The CTET score calculation is done through the normalisation process. Candidates who are able to score the minimum qualifying marks in the CTET exam are considered to pass the teacher's eligibility test. CBSE will release the category-wise cut off along with the CTET result soon at the official website. The exam does not have any negative marking which saves the candidate from losing marks.

CTET Exam Previous Years' Cut Off

Candidates from the general category who appeared for the CTET exam 2024 and will score 60 percent marks will be considered to pass the exam, whereas candidates from the reserved category are required to score a minimum of 55 percent of the marks in the teacher's eligibility test to clear the exam. The CBSE will release the CTET result after the declaration of the results. 

CTET 2024: Previous years' pass percentage 

While there are no cut off lists for CTET exam, candidates can have a look at the previous years' pass percentage data. CTET pass percentage refers to the number of candidates who appeared in the exam and have successfully passed the exam. CTET Results 2024

CTET results 2024 will be released by the Central Board of Secondary Education soon at the official website. The board releases the results once the CTET exams are completed. The teacher eligibility test results will be uploaded on the official website. To check CTET results, candidates need to login in to the portal using the credentials.  

Before releasing the results, CBSE will release a provisional answer key, following which candidates will be given the opportunity to raise objections. Later, a final answer key will be released by the board along with the results.

Once the CBSE will release the teacher eligibility results, candidates can check their results by following these simple steps here : 

Step 1:Candidates have to visit the official website of CTET -- ctet.nic.in

Step 2: On the homepage, candidates will find the link that reads 'CTET results 2024' -- Click on that 

Step 3: Now, candidates need to log in using their given credentials -- Click on submit 

Step 4: The CTET results will be displayed on the screen 

NOTE: Download the result pdf and take a printout for future use. 

CTET Scorecard 2024

CTET scorecard is also released by the Central Board of Secondary Education. The board released the scorecard for those candidates who have successfully cleared the exam.  The scorecard has all the personal information of the candidate including the marks obtained in each subject, name of the candidate, roll number, etc.  The CTET scorecard can be downloaded from the official website as well as in digital format in the candidate's digiLocker account.
