Candidates who belong to the general category need to score at least 60 per cent to clear the exam, whereas candidates who belong to the reserved category need to obtain 55 percent marks to clear the exam. The CTET exam 2023 is conducted by CBSE and the exam consists of two papers. While CTET paper I will be for those candidates who wish to become teachers for classes 1 to 5, paper II is for those candidates who wish to become teachers for classes 6 to 8. Both papers consist of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) of 1 mark each. Candidates who belong to the general category need to score 90 marks to qualify for the exam, whereas candidates from the SC/ST/OBC category need to score 82 marks to qualify the CTET exam.
Apart from CTET results and cut-off, the education body also releases the answer key. There are two types of answer keys. While the first one is the provisional answer key and the final answer key. In the year 2022-23, a total of 2699030 candidates appeared for the CTET exam and a total of 955869 candidates cleared the exam.
CTET 2022-23: Cut-Off
The CTET score calculation is done through the normalisation process. Candidates who are able to score the minimum qualifying marks in the CTET exam are considered to pass the teacher's eligibility test. CBSE will release the CTET cut-off category-wise. The exam does not have any negative marking which saves the candidate from losing marks.

Step 1: Candidates need to go to the official website of CTET -- ctet.nic.in
Step 2: On the homepage, candidates will find the CTET results -- click on that
Step 3: Now, candidates need to enter their roll number and click on submit
Step 4: CTET results and CTET cutoff will be displayed in front of you.

Previous Year Cutoff for CTET Exam
Candidates from the general category who will appear for the CTET exam 2023 and will score 60 percent marks will be considered to pass the exam, whereas candidates from the reserved category are required to score a minimum of 55 percent of the marks in the teacher's eligibility test to clear the exam. CTET 2023: Previous year pass percentage
CTET pass percentage refers to the number of candidates who appeared in the exam and have successfully passed the exam. Since the CTET has two papers, CBSE will release the pass percentage of both papers separately. Candidates can take a look at the previous year's pass percentage here:

CTET Results 2023
CTET results 2023 were released by the Central Board of Secondary Education on March 03, 2023. The board will release the results once the CTET exams are completed. The teacher eligibility test results will be uploaded on the official website. To check CTET results, candidates need to login in to the portal using the credentials.
Before releasing the results, CBSE will release a provisional answer key, following which candidates will be given the opportunity to raise objections. Later, a final answer key will be released by the board along with the results.

Step 3: Now, candidates need to log in using their given credentials -- Click on submit
Step 4: The CTET results will be displayed on the screen

CTET Scorecard 2023
CTET scorecard is also released by the Central Board of Secondary Education. The board released the scorecard for those candidates who have successfully cleared the exam. The scorecard has all the personal information of the candidate including the marks obtained in each subject, name of the candidate, roll number, etc. The CTET scorecard can be downloaded from the official website as well as in digital format in the candidate's digiLocker account.
