TANCET Result Date 2024: Anna University has released the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) result on March 28, 2024, in online mode. Candidates who appeared for the TANCET exam 2024 to get admission into MBA and MCA courses in the colleges of Tamil Nadu can check and download their scores through the official website - tancet.annauniv.edu. 

The examination authority released the TANCET scorecard 2024 on April 3, 2024. Candidates can download their scorecard by May 3, 2024, from the official portal.

To download the TANCET result 2024, candidates need to enter the necessary login credentials such as email address and password in the login window. The examination authority conducted the Tamil Nadu CET exam on March 9, 2024. The provisional answer key was released on March 13, 2024, and the final answer key was released on March 22, 2024. As per the released data, this year, 39,301 candidates registered for the TANCET MBA, MCA, and CEETA PG entrance tests, which took place at 40 exam centres spread across 15 cities in Tamil Nadu. Candidates who appeared for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test can determine their expected scores with the help of the TANCET marking scheme and the official answer key. There were 100 questions in the entrance exam, where each correct answer carried one mark. The marking scheme had negative marks for every incorrect attempt. One-fourth of marks will be deducted for every wrong answer as per the TANCET marking scheme.

TANCET 2024 Normalisation

Candidates who have appeared for the TANCET/CEETA-PG will normally be notified with actual marks and percentile scores obtained by them at the time of publishing results. However, to avoid projecting negative scoring, the final scorecard contains only the percentile score. The percentile score is calculated using the formula provided by the examination authority.
