KMAT Exam 2024: The Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges’ Association (KPPGCA) conducts the Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) for candidates seeking admission in MBA, MCA, and PGDM courses in universities of Karnataka. A total of 159 member institutions offer MBA admission to candidates, while 69 member institutions offer admission to MCA applicants through KMAT. 

Latest Updates: 

• The KMAT exam for November session will be held on November 16, 2024. The application window for the same will remain open till November 10, 2024.

For the ongoing session, candidates are allowed to register online for KMAT 2024 till November 10, 2024. Those candidates who successfully register online will be eligible to download their KMAT admit cards from the official website - kmatindia.com. KMAT result 2024 will be declared a few days after the conclusion of the examination. 

KMAT Admit Card 2024

The KMAT admit card will released for candidates who successfully complete their registration online. The admit card will carry details about the candidate's roll number, date of birth, exam subject, duration, and time slot. Candidates are advised to keep their KMAT admit card along with them during the examination.

KMAT Exam 2024: Highlights

KMAT Eligibility 2024

Candidates interested in appearing for KMAT exam 2024 can register for the examination online. However, before applying, candidates must check the eligibility criteria. The following eligibility requirements are applicable for candidates participating in KMAT exam 2024: 

• Applicants are required to hold a valid bachelor’s degree with a minimum duration of 3 years from a recognized university. The degree must be in one of the following disciplines:
• Commerce 
• Management 
• Arts
• Social Sciences
• Engineering/Technology or an equivalent discipline
• Applying candidates must have scored a minimum aggregate score as per their category in their bachelor’s degree. Check category wise minimum score requirements: 
• General category: 50%
• SC/ST: 45%
• Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply for KMAT 2024, given that they have scored the minimum aggregate score requirements in their semester scores. 

KMAT Registration 2024

As per the KMAT exam schedule, candidates can register online at the official website - kmatindia.com. The last date to fill the application form is September 10, 2024. 

Candidates are required to fill the following details in their KMAT application form: 

• Name
• Nationality
• Mode of test
• Gender
• Date of birth
• Stream
• Course
• Address
• Application form payment of INR 850/-
• Scanned copy of passport size photograph (maximum size 200 KB)
• Scanned copy of signature (maximum size 200 KB)

KMAT Syllabus & Exam Pattern 2024

As per the KMAT exam pattern, the question paper will carry 120 multiple choice questions, divided into three sections. Candidates will be given 2 hours to complete their exam. Check KMAT syllabus for MBA and MCA aspirants. 

Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension

The VARC syllabus for KMAT includes the following subjects:

• Synonyms and antonyms
• Sentence completion

Quantitative Ability

The QA section in KMAT exam consists of the following topics: 

• Arithmetic
• Algebra
• Geometry
• Trigonometry

Logical Reasoning

The logical reasoning syllabus for KMAT 2024 contains the following topics: 

• Analogy
• Blood relations
• Coding-decoding
• Direction sense
• Series and puzzles

KMAT Result 2024

KPPGCA will release the result for KMAT 2024 soon after the exam is concluded on November 16, 2024. Candidates who appear for the examination will be able to download their scorecards from the official website - kmatindia.com. 

The KMAT qualifying certificate will remain valid until the next exam session begins. Candidates who qualify in the first round will be eligible to appear for the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. Once all rounds are over, the exam conducting body will release the final result for eligible candidates.
