The registration process for the JEE Advanced exam will likely commence in the last week of April 2025 by IIT Kanpur. For JEE Advanced registration, male candidates from the general and OBC categories must pay Rs 3200.JEE Advanced Registration 2025 - IIT Kanpur will release the JEE Advanced application form on April 23, 2025. The last date to apply for JEE Advanced exam is May 2, 2025. The registration for foreign nationals will also start around the same period. JEE Advanced AAT Registration Dates
The Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) is conducted for candidates who wish to take admission in the B.Arch program in IIT Bombay, IIT Roorkee and IIT BHU respectively. The basic eligibility criteria for admission is to qualify the JEE Advanced exam. Once the JEE Advanced result is announced, qualified candidates can register for the Architecture Aptitude Test. How to Register for the JEE Advanced 2025?
Indian candidates who qualified the JEE Main exam and are in the top 2,50,000 rank holders will be allowed to take the JEE Advanced examination. Below are the steps to register for the exam:
- Visit the JEE Advanced official website.
- Login with JEE Main 2025 roll number and password.
- Once you are logged in, the registration form will appear on your screen.
- Fill out the registration form with personal and academic details as asked in the form.
- Upload scanned documents
- Once done with uploading scanned documents, candidates can pay the application fee.
- Upon submitting the application fee, the confirmation page will appear on the screen.
- Download and print out the confirmation page/registration receipt.

JEE Advanced Registration 2025 - Documents to be Uploaded
The list of documents that must be submitted when completing the JEE Advanced Application Form is provided below:

For Candidates seeking admission under GEN-EWS Category:
- GEN-EWS certificate (FORM-GEN-EWS) must be uploaded by candidates which have been issued on or after April 01, 2025 in consonance with the latest guidelines of the Government of India.
- If any GEN-EWS candidate fails or is unable to submit the GEN-EWS certificate (issued on or after April 01, 2025) at the time of online registration, the candidate has to upload a declaration (Declaration in Lieu of GEN-EWS Certificate) to that effect.
- Similarly, candidates from other reserved categories have to furnish their certificate during the time of application.

JEE Advanced Registration 2025 - Examination Accepted
To apply for the JEE Advanced exam, candidates must pass Class 10+2 from recognized boards or universities. Below is the list of Examinations Considered as Equivalent to Class XII:
- Final exams of the 10+2 system, conducted by a recognized Central or State Board (as per the Association of Indian Universities - AIU).
- Intermediate or two-year Pre-University exams conducted by a Board or University recognized by the AIU.
- Final exams of the two-year Joint Services Wing course at the National Defence Academy.
- Senior Secondary School Examination by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) with at least five subjects.
- Exams from any Public School, Board, or University in India or abroad recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the AIU.
- H.S.C. vocational exams.
- A three-year diploma recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or a State Technical Education Board.
- General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced (A) level exams from London, Cambridge, or Sri Lanka.
- High School Certificate from Cambridge University or the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma.
- For Class XII or equivalent exams completed abroad or from unlisted Boards, candidates must provide an equivalence certificate from the AIU.
- If Class XII was not a public exam, candidates must have passed at least one earlier public (Board or Pre-University) exam.
