BMS College of Architecture offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of B.Arch and M.Arch in Habitat Design. Admission to B.Arch (2024) requires a minimum 50% score in 10+2 with PCM or a 10+3 Diploma with math and passing an architecture aptitude test (NTA or NATA). For M.Arch (Habitat Design), a recognized B.Arch degree with 50% and success in PGCET or GATE is needed. Admission routes include CET, COMED-K, and Management quota for B.Arch and KCET Counseling or Direct Admission for M.Arch with GATE/PGCET scores.

B. Arch

  • must have completed the 10+2 (12th Grade) examination with a minimum score of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • Alternatively, they can have a 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics as a compulsory subject, also with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate.
  • Additionally, candidates need to have appeared and passed an aptitude test in architecture, which can be either the NTA (JEE) or "NATA" conducted by the Council of Architecture.

Admission through CET: Candidates wishing to secure admission through this channel must complete their registration via the online forms available on the KEA website under the Architecture counseling section. After registering, it is essential for them to frequently monitor the updates and announcements posted on the KEA website. The candidate must have appeared and qualified in the aptitude test in architecture conducted either by NTA (i.e., JEE) or “NATA” conducted by the Council of Architecture.


Admission through COMED-K: Applicants interested in this quota must register via the online forms on the Comed-K website and must stay updated by regularly checking the website for announcements. Additionally, candidates should have taken the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture. Please note that COMEDK will not be organising a Common Entrance Test for B.Arch admissions, following its current guidelines.


Admission is also granted through Management quota. 

M. Arch

  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or its equivalent, which is recognised by the Council of Architecture, New Delhi.
  • They should have achieved a score of 50% or higher in their qualifying B.Arch examination.
  • Applicants need to pass the PGCET or GATE Examination.
  • PGCET, the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test, is conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).

Admission through the Karnataka Common Entrance Test Counseling. Alternatively, students with GATE or PGCET scores can seek Direct Admission by contacting the BMS Education Trust on Bull Temple Road in Bangalore.
