NIT Andhra Pradesh: Admission, Placement and Infrastructure
B.Tech. in Civil Engineering
B.Tech in Civil Engineering is a full-time undergraduate course in engineering offered at National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh. It is a four year programme. The main highlights of the BTech programme at NIT Andhra Pradesh are given below.
- Candidates willing to apply for the B.Tech. must have a valid score in the JEE Main exam conducted by NTA.
- They must have also completed the HSC (10+2) level examination from a recognized board.
- Candidates must also have scored a minimum of 75% marks in the qualifying examination. The minimum scores for the reserved category candidates is 65% in the qualifying examination.
- It is mandatory for all the applicants to have PCM/ PCMB as subject combinations in their 10+2 level examination.
- Seats for the BTech programmes are allocated through a common counselling process - JoSAA. Applicants must register to the official JoSAA online portal.
- At the end of JoSAA Rounds, vacant seats of the NIT+ system, if any, are filled through two additional CSAB-Special Rounds through its official website.

For BTech admission at NIT Andhra Pradesh, candidates must have:
- A valid score in JEE Main examination
- Passed HSC 10+2 examination from a recognized board
- PCM/ PCMB at 10+2 level
- Scored 75% or above in the qualifying degree
- Participated in the JoSAA counselling
Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD must have scored 65% marks in HSC (10+2) and appeared for JEE Main for the BTech admissions.
