Post-Graduate Programme in Management for Working Executives (PGPWE) at IIM Shillong is a two-year MBA programme, custom designed for
professionals who aspire for greater roles in their organizations and have the ambition to develop management competencies.
The main highlights of the PGPWE programme at IIM Shillong are as follows:
- Candidates willing to apply for the PGPWE admission at IIM Shillong must have a valid score in CAT/GMAT
- The minimum eligibility for the course is a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution/university.
- Candidates must have scored at least 50% marks in the qualifying degree. There are some exemptions for the reserved categories.
- Candidates must also have a minimum 3 years of full-time work experience after graduation.
- Based on the above qualifications, candidates are shortlisted for the Personal Interview (PI) process.
- The candidates, who have scored more than or equal to the Minimum Performance Requirement (MPR) in the PI, will be considered for the final merit list for the PGP Admission.
- The Academic profile of the candidate is also taken into consideration while preparing the merit list.

For PGPWE admission at IIM Shillong, candidates must have:
- A valid CAT / GMAT Score
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution
- Scored 50% or above in the qualifying degree
- Minimum 3 years of work experience
- Merit in Personal Interview
Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD must have scored 45% marks in the qualifying degree and appeared for the CAT exam.
