M.Sc. in Physics
M.Sc. Physics is a 2-year postgraduate program in science offered by IIT Bhilai. Candidates willing to apply for the course must have completed a 3 year bachelor's degree in science from a recognized university. The highlights of the course are given below:
- Candidates applying for the M.Sc. programme at IIT Bhilai must have a valid IIT-JAM score.
- The candidates must have passed a 3 year bachelor’s degree with Physics as a subject for at least two years and Mathematics for at least one year.
- They must have scored minimum 60% marks in the qualifying degree.
- Candidates with a four year B.Tech./B.E. degree in any specialisation are also eligible for admission to the M.Sc program.
- Final admission will be offered on merit based on the JAM score.
- The tuition fee for the M.Sc. program at IIT Bhilai is INR 5,000 per semester.
