Anna University Admissions 2024: Admission to Anna University is based on merit scores and entrance exam scores like JEE Main, NATA, and CEETA, admission to the majority of the courses is based on the marks scored in the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) which is further followed by a common counselling process to grant final admission to the registered students.

The university comprises 494 affiliated colleges and 16 constituent colleges with 84 UG and 171 PG Programmes respectively. The university witnesses 90% of its students getting placed every year from different departments through its Centre for University-Industry Collaboration cell.
