IIT JAM Cut Off 2024: Check expected dates and previous years' closing ranks

IIT JAM Cut Off 2024: Indian Institute of Technology Madras will release the subject wise cut off lists for IIT JAM exam 2024 on its official website jam.iitm.ac.in. Candidates will be able to see the lists after the declaration of the result. The subject wise cut off lists will help the candidates shortlist the institutes they may get into after qualifying IIT JAM.

The cut off marks will vary according to the General, SC, ST, OBC, and any other reserved categories. Thus, candidates must check the accurate marks according to their respective categories. IIT JAM offers around 3000 seats across 21 IITs all over the country. Eligible candidates will be offered admission after the completion of their counselling sessions.

The IIT JAM exam is going to be held on February 11, 2024. Results for the same are expected to be declared on March 22, 2024. Therefore, the cut off and merit lists will go live on the official website after March 22, 2024.

Step 1: Visit the IIT JAM 2024 website jam.iitm.ac.in

Step 2: Click on the cut off 2024 notification on the page

Step 3: Select the cut off PDF for the subject of your choice

Step 4: Click on the download option if you wish to save the file

Cut off lists are released in mainly three or four rounds. If the candidates do not find the institute of their choice, they can wait for the next lists to come out soon. However, it is advisable to fill the institute they are eligible for, as the number of seats decreases with every new cut off list.
