DRDO CEPTAM Syllabus 2023: Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) releases the syllabus and exam pattern of the CEPTAM (Centre for Personnel Talent Management) exam on its official website. DRDO conducts the recruitment process for posts under DRDO Technical Cadre (DRTC) and Admin and Allied Cadre(A&A). The CEPTAM exam is conducted for the central recruitment and training of DRTC, and Admin and Allied cadre.
The DRDO selection process for Admin and Allied posts consists of a Computer-based Test (CBT) in the Tier-I phase and a Skill/Fitness/Capability Test in the Tier-II stage. The Tier-I CBT exam will comprise of objective-type questions (multiple choice questions). CBT will be conducted in both English and Hindi languages. The Tier-I selection is provisional in nature. The Tier-II selection is qualifying in nature and consists of Skill/Physical Fitness and Capability Test.
The DRTC selection process is conducted for Senior Technical Assistant-B (STA-B) and Technician-A (Tech-A) positions. For the STA-B position, the selection process will consist of Tier-I (Screening) and Tier-II (Final Selection). BothTier-I and Tier-II exams will be Computer-Based Tests (CBT) and will consist of multiple choice questions. The selection process for the Tech-A post will include multiple choice question-based CBT in the Tier-I stage and Trade Test in the Tier-II phase. Trade Test will be of ITI level in the related trade.
DRDO CEPTAM Syllabus 2023
The CBT (Computer-Based Test) exam will consist of quantitative aptitude, general intelligence and reasoning ability, general awareness, English language and General Science. Further, the syllabus of the exam will be according to the subject/discipline of the educational qualification required for the post. There will be no negative marking in the CEPTAM examination. In Tier 1 stage of CEPTAM exam, the minimum qualifying marks is 40% for candidates of General and OBC categories. For SC/ST candidates, the passing marks required to clear the CBT exam is 35%.
DRDO CEPTAM-10 (DRTC): Syllabus and Exam Pattern
- DRDO CEPTAM for Technical Cadre (Senior Technical Assistant-B and Technician-A) consists of Tier 1 and Tier 2 stages.
- For Senior Technical Assistant-B(STA-B) post, the selection process will include Tier 1 (Screening) and Tier 2(Final selection).
- For STA-B position, both Tier 1 and Tier 2 CBT exams will consist of objective type multiple choice-based questions.
- For Technician-A (Tech-A) post, the selection process will include Tier-1 (CBT) and Tier-2(Trade Test) stages.
- The Tier-1 CBT for Tech-A post will include multiple choice-based questions.
- The Tier-1 CBT exam is for provisional selection.
- The Tier-2 Trade Test will be based on ITI level in the related trade and evaluates practical skills of candidates.
- The Tier-2 Trade Test is qualifying in nature and is for final selection.
- There will be no negative marking in the exam.
- The syllabus of exam will be according to the educational qualification requirement corresponding to the specific post.
- The exam will be conducted in both English and Hindi medium.
