FMGE Application Form 2024: Registration dates, documents required, steps to apply

FMGE Application Form 2024: Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) is conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) twice a year. NBEMS releases the FMGE application form on its official website. The FGME application form for the December exam session is out. The last date to apply is November 18, 2024 (Till 11:55 pm).

Once the application form process is completed, the board will open the application correction window for FMGE exam. The correction window will help students to edit any mistake they might have made in the application form. Candidates need to ensure that the uploaded documents meet the prescribed guidelines such as specifications related to dimensions, format, and file size. 

The FMGE application process can be completed in three steps: a) new user registration to generate user ID and password b) filling the three sections of the online application form c) paying the application fee. There are three sections in the application form, which are, personal details, qualification details, and test centre details. The total application fee for the FMGE exam is INR 6,195. 

FMGE Application Form 2024

Medical graduates holding their primary medical qualification from a foreign country need to clear the FMGE exam 2024 to practise medicine in India. Candidates who fulfill the FMGE eligibility criteria 2024 can apply for the exam. Candidates need to apply for the exam by registering to generate user ID and password, filling out the application form, and paying the application fee.

FMGE Application Form 2024: How to register?

Candidates interested in appearing for the FMGE examination can follow the instructions below to register online: 

Step 1: Candidates are required to visit the official website of NBEMS

Step 2: Click on the specific exam name for which the application form needs to be filled

Step 3: Click on ‘to register and the candidate will be redirected to the registration form page

Step 4: Enter the following details accurately in the registration form : 

1. Name of Candidate
2. Date of Birth
3. Gender
4. Nationality
5. Mobile Number 
6. Email Address
7. Captcha

Step 5: Click on the ‘submit’ button

Step 6: Candidate will receive User ID and Password on their registered email address and mobile number

Fill Application Form

Step 1: After completing the registration, click on ‘go to application form’ 

Step 2: The application form consists of the following three sections: 

     a) Personal Details

     b) Qualification Details

     c) Test Centre Details

Step 3: Fill each section of the application form sequentially. You will not be able to proceed to the next section without filling in all the mandatory fields and uploading all the required documents in a section. 

Step 4: After uploading all the required documents, select test centre preferences such as the state and city in which you wish to take the exam. 

Step 5: Next, read the declaration and enter the captcha code.

Step 6: Candidates need to click on the ‘I Agree’ checkbox to complete the online application form. 

Step 7: Candidates are required to click on the ‘submit’ button and pay the FMGE application fee
