Following this, the remaining 85% of seats, which are reserved for candidates from the local region, are allocated. It's important to note that candidates from non-local regions are considered under the general category, irrespective of their specific category. Their admission is therefore treated as part of the general category. The allocation of seats takes into account various factors including the candidate's preferences for institute/branch, their rank, category, local or non-local status, and seat availability. For candidates from non-local regions, they may be allotted a seat under the 15% unreserved category based on these aforementioned factors.
TS EAMCET Counselling 2025: Local and Non-Local Status
TSCHE will allot local and non local status to candidates based on different parameters. Aspirants can check the factors determining the local and non-local status below:
TS EAMCET Spot Admission 2025
The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) conducts the TS EAMCET spot admission in order to fill the vacant seats in various engineering, agriculture, and medical colleges.
When the admissions procedure is complete, spot admission is used to fill seats available. In other words, spot admission is used to fill any open seats that remain after the admissions procedure is complete. The TSCHE will decide the criteria for spot admissions and announce them on the official website.
To be eligible for spot admissions, aspirants must have qualified the TS EAMCET exam and satisfy the eligibility conditions stated by the colleges offering the available seats. Applicants who satisfy the requirements can submit their application forms, along with the necessary documents and payments, to be considered for spot admissions.
The admissions procedure is transparent, and candidates for spot admissions are often chosen based on their merit. Spot admissions require applicants to submit the proper documents, pay the necessary fees, and report to the college within a certain amount of time.
It is essential to keep in mind that colleges only undertake spot admissions when there are unfilled seats available. As a result, applicants are recommended to regularly check the TSCHE website for updates on spot admissions.
