IPU CET Counselling 2026: Seat Allotment Round 2 Result (OUT), Choice Filling, Admission

IPU CET Counselling 2026: GGSIPU released the IPU CET 2026 Round 2 seat allotment result on July 16, 2026, on the official site.Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) earlier released the IPU CET 2026 Round 1 seat allotment result on the official website ipu.ac.in. IP University extended the last date of IPU CET 2026 counselling registration process. Candidates could register for IPU CET Counselling 2026 till June 29, 2026 (11 PM). The counselling process is conducted both online and offline modes by Indraprastha university. Earlier, the registration and choice filling process for IPU CET 2026 examiniation concluded on June 17, 2026 . The IPU CET counselling is to be conducted by the University as per the procedure prescribed in this admission brochure, strictly on the basis of inter-se-merit of the qualified candidates. 

IPU CET Counselling 2026

Candidates who have successfully cleared their IPU CET 2026 entrance exams with minimum qualifying marks are eligible to sit for the counselling sessions. The IPU CET online counselling registration started from June 10, 2026 to June 29, 2026. The counselling registration fee is 1000/-

IPU CET Counselling 2026 - Eligibility Criteria

Applicants who successfully qualify the IPU CET entrance exam with minimum qualifying marks will be eligible for the counselling which will take place in both online and offline mode based on courses. 

IPU CET Counselling Process 2026

Candidates applying for the counselling will have to go through the following process:

1. Register for counselling 
2. Verification of reserved category at Designated centres
3. Fill the choice for IPU CET counselling 
4. Payment of the fees for counselling 
5. After the payment the seat will be freezed for allotment.

IPU CET COUNSELLING - Refund Procedure

Candidates who want to withdraw their IPU CET counselling session can get their refund after conclusion of all rounds of Online/ Offline Counselling for the Academic Session 2026-27. 

How to get a refund? 

Candidates opting for withdrawal of the counselling session and getting a refund can follow these steps: 

1. Visit the official website ipu.ac.in 
2. Login with your credentials. 
3. Click on the counselling section 
4. Click on the withdrawal. 

On submission of withdrawal option online in the candidates login ID for withdrawal of admission within stipulated dates, as after first counselling, second counselling and as procedure for withdrawal notified, an amount of 1000/- (or as applicable), will be deducted and refund be carried out accordingly for eligible cases.

IPU CET Counselling 2026 - Offline Process

The IPU CET offline counselling is scheduled from June 10, 2026 to June 17, 2026. Students who have successfully cleared their IPU CET entrance test with minimum qualifying marks are eligible to sit for the offline counselling.

Venue of Counselling: For all programmes for which offline counselling will be held, the venue of counselling will be notified in the counselling schedule on the University’s website (www.ipu.ac.in). 

IPU CET Seat Allotment

IPU CET seat allotment is conducted for candidates who have successfully qualified in the examination based on the merit ranks mentioned in the merit list. The merit list is prepared based on the performance of the applicants. Qualified candidates are required to pay the counselling fee to freeze their seats within the scheduled timeline announced by the university for the respective counselling rounds, depending on the course and mode of admission.

For admission candidates have to download the provisional admission letter.

IPU CET Cut off 2026

IPU CET Cut off 2026 is released by Indraprasth University on the official website, ipu.ac.in. Candidates who clear the minimum cut off marks are eligible for admission to different colleges affiliated to Indraprastha University. IP admission to different engineering and non engineering programmes is based on the admission cut off. IPU admission cut off is released after each round of counselling in the form of opening and closing ranks.

Students must note that admission to 4-year B.Tech program is done on the basis of JEE Main score except in B.Tech (Biotechnology). Meanwhile, students can check IPU CET previous year cut off:
