IPU CET Counselling 2024: Date, Process, Choice Filling, Seat Allotment

IPU CET counselling is scheduled tentatively from June 14, 2024 to July 31, 2024 by Indraprastha university. The registrations for the counselling will start from June 4, 2024, to June 7, 2024, as per the tentative calendar. The counselling will take place in both offline and online mode. The IPU CET counselling is to be conducted by the University as per the procedure prescribed in this admission brochure, strictly on the basis of inter-se-merit of the qualified candidates. 

IPU CET Counselling 2024

Candidates who have successfully cleared their IPU CET entrance exams with minimum qualifying marks will be eligible to sit for the counselling sessions. The IPU CET online counselling registrations is starting from June 4, 2022 to June 7, 2024 tentatively. The counselling registration fee is 1000/-

The online counselling will take place in three rounds: 

The second counselling round will be held subject to the availability of Seats for all the programmes of studies /CETs.

IPU CET Counselling 2024 - Eligibility Criteria

Applicants who successfully qualify the IPU CET entrance exam with minimum qualifying marks will be eligible for the counselling which will take place in both online and offline mode based on courses. 

IPU CET Counselling Process 2024

Candidates applying for the counselling will have to go through the following process:

1. Register for counselling 
2. Verification of reserved category at Designated centres
3. Fill the choice for IPU CET counselling 
4. Payment of the fees for counselling 
5. After the payment the seat will be freezed for allotment.

IPU CET COUNSELLING - Refund Procedure

Candidates who want to withdraw their IPU CET counselling session can get their refund after conclusion of all rounds of Online/ Offline Counselling for the Academic Session 2024-25. 

How to get a refund? 

Candidates opting for withdrawal of the counselling session and getting a refund can follow these steps: 

1. Visit the official website ipu.ac.in 
2. Login with your credentials. 
3. Click on the counselling section 
4. Click on the withdrawal. 

On submission of withdrawal option online in the candidates login ID for withdrawal of admission within stipulated dates, as after first counselling, second counselling and as procedure for withdrawal notified, an amount of 1000/- (or as applicable), will be deducted and refund be carried out accordingly for eligible cases.

IPU CET Counselling 2024 - Offline Process

The IPU CET offline counselling is tentatively scheduled from June 4, 2024 to June 26, 2024. Students who have successfully cleared their IPU CET entrance test with minimum qualifying marks will be eligible to sit for the offline counselling.

The second counselling etc. will be held subject to the availability of Seats for all the programmes of studies / CETs. 

Venue of Counselling: For all programmes for which offline counselling will be held, the venue of counselling will be notified in the counselling schedule on the University’s website (www.ipu.ac.in). 

IPU CET Seat Allotment

IPU CET seat allotments will be done only for the students who successfully qualify for the exam based on the merit ranks mentioned in the merit list. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of performance of applicants. Qualified students will be then required to pay the counselling fees to freeze their seats within the scheduled time released by the university for the requisite rounds for counselling based on the courses and mode.

IPU CET Cut off 2024

IPU CET Cut off 2024 is released by Indraprasth University on the official website, ipu.ac.in. Candidates who clear the minimum cut off marks are eligible for admission to different colleges affiliated to Indraprastha University. IP admission to different engineering and non engineering programmes is based on the admission cut off. IPU admission cut off is released after each round of counselling in the form of opening and closing ranks.

Students must note that admission to 4-year B.Tech program is done on the basis of JEE Main score except in B.Tech (Biotechnology). Meanwhile, students can check IPU CET previous year cut off:
