Tamil Nadu 10th Result 2026: The TN SSLC  Supplementary 2026 application process has started from May 26, 2026. All the students who failed in any of the subjects or those who missed the exam can visit their respective schools to complete the application process from May 26, 2026, to June 6, 2026 (11:00 AM to 05:00 PM). The supplementary exam will be conducted from July 8, 2026, to July 15, 2026.

The board released the TN SSLC Result 2026 on May 20, 2026. The result was declared in online mode through the official website - tnresults.nic.in. Students can download their TN SSLC scorecard 2026 by visiting the official website and entering their login credentials, i.e., registration number and date of birth. It is advisable for the students to check all the details mentioned on the marks memo carefully after downloading. If there is any error, they must contact the authorities at DGE.

Students who are not satisfied with their TN SSLC marks are allowed to apply for the re-evaluation of their answer sheets. The Tamil Nadu Board allows students to apply for a re-evaluation of their test papers in the online mode. The TN SSLC re-evaluation process window opens for a limited time. In order to submit their applications for evaluating their TN Board Result 2026, they need to make the payment of the required amount prescribed by the board.

The Tamil Nadu 10th exams for the 2025-26 session were held from March 11, 2026, to April 6, 2026, in pen-and-paper mode. The practical examination was conducted from February 23, 2026, to February 28, 2026. Last year, TN SSLC exams were conducted between March 28 and April 15. The result for the SSLC board exam was released in the form of a scorecard.

The Tamil Nadu board will conduct the TN SSLC Supplementary Exam 2026 from July 7 to July 15, 2026. The board has started its application process from May 26, 2026, onwards. The TN 10th Supplementary 2026 application process will conclude on June 6, 2026. Students who have failed in any of the subjects or those who could not appear in the exam for any reason can apply for the upcoming supplementary exam by visiting their respective school authority. The school will conduct the application process from May 26, 2026, to June 6, 2026 between 11:00 AM to 05:00 PM.

Tamil Nadu SSLC Result 2026: Passing marks 

The Directorate of Government Examinations has set a minimum passing score of 35 out of 100 for candidates appearing in the TN SSLC board exams. Students have to score at least 20 marks out of 75 in their theory examination. Meanwhile, they have to score at least 15 marks out of 25 in their practical examinations.

In some cases, students believe that they have been marked incorrectly in their board results. For such instances, the Tamil Nadu board allows the students to apply for a re-evaluation of their test papers. The re-evaluation process window opens once the results are declared. Students can submit their queries and select the question they want to get checked again. Students have to pay an application fee of Rs. 250 for re-evaluation.
