Jharkhand Board Result 2026: The Jharkhand Academic Council has announced the Class 12th results on its official website jacresults.com and jac.jharkhand.gov.in/jac. The JAC conducts the annual board examinations for classes 10th and 12th in Jharkhand. The Council has released the Jharkhand 12th Arts, Science, and Commerce streams results in the online mode this week. Students who appear for the JAC matric or intermediate exams can check their scores through the official websites - jacresults.com and jac.jharkhand.gov.in/jac. Last year, JAC announced the Class 12th results for science and commerce streams on May 31, while the results of the arts stream were announced on June 5. Students can now check their JAC Inter result at education.indianexpress.com.

The overall pass percentage for the arts stream was recorded at 95.62% last year, while the pass percentage for Commerce students was 91.2%, and 79.26% of Science stream.

The JAC Matriculation and Intermediate examinations 2026 started across Jharkhand on February 3, with over 7.48 lakh candidates appearing at 1,989 examination centres amid stringent security arrangements.

The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC), Ranchi on April 23 announced the Class 10 (Matric) examination results 2026, bringing relief and joy to lakhs of students across the state. This year, the overall pass percentage stood at 95.278%.

Out of 4,24,001 registered candidates, 4,22,109 appeared for the exam, and 4,02,178 students passed successfully. Among them, 2,26,957 students secured first division, making it the largest group. Meanwhile, 1,60,673 students passed in the second division, and 14,548 were placed in the third division. Officials highlighted that the large number of first-division scorers reflects a growing focus on academic excellence.

Among the state’s divisions, Kolhan recorded the highest pass percentage at 96.32%, followed closely by Santhal Pargana at 96.25% and South Chotanagpur at 95.24%. Palamu and North Chotanagpur also performed well, recording pass percentages of 94.76% and 94.67%, respectively.

Girls once again outperformed boys in the matric results. The pass percentage among girls was 95.51%, with 2,15,066 qualifying out of 2,25,173 candidates. Boys recorded a pass percentage of 95.01%, with 1,87,112 students passing out of 1,96,936.

Among different categories, Backward Class (BC) students achieved the highest pass percentage at 96.42%. They were followed by ST and MBC categories, both at 95.93%. The General category recorded a pass percentage of 94.85%, while SC students registered 93.40%.

JAC class 10th board exam result, in 2024, was announced at education.indianexpress.com. The overall pass percentage in the JAC 10th result stood at 91.71%, an increase of 1.31% from 2024. The JAC 10th result was released on May 27 at 11:30 AM. 

In 2024, a total of 4,33,643 students appeared for the class 10th exam and 3,44,822 students for the JAC 12th exams. Last year, the overall passing percentages for classes 10 and 12 were recorded at 90.39% and 85.48%, respectively. This year, the Jharkhand board 10th and 12th exams were scheduled from February 11 to March 3, 2025.
