JAC 12th Result 2025: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) declares the Jharkhand Board intermediate Arts, Science, and Commerce stream results in the online mode. Once released, students can check the JAC 12th result by visiting the official websites - jacresults.com, and jac.jharkhand.gov.in. The result link will be accessible at the official website. Students are required to fill out their login credentials including roll code and roll number to check their scores online.

It must be noted that the original/final mark sheets can be collected by the students from their schools after some time. Meanwhile, students can provisionally download their JAC 12th mark sheet through the official websites for Arts, Commerce and Science streams.

In the previous academic session (2023-24), the board declared JAC 12th results for all three streams on April 30, 2024. A total of 3,44,822 students appeared for the JAC intermediate exams. The exams were conducted from February 6 to February 26, 2024 last year.

Jharkhand Board Class 12th Result 2025: Passing Criteria

To pass the Jharkhand Board 12th exam, students must score at least 23 marks out of 70 in each subject, and at least 33 marks out of 100 in the overall exam. If a student fails to meet these requirements, he/she will not be declared pass.

Provision for Grace Marks 

The Jharkhand Board gives grace marks to students who fail the exams by a small margin. The following are the criteria for awarding grace marks:

• A student who fails in a subject by less than 5% of the total marks will be given the grace marks to pass the subject.
• A student who fails in two subjects by less than 3% of the total marks in each subject will be given the grace marks to pass both subjects.
• A student who falls short of 5% or less in obtaining a higher division will be given the necessary marks to be awarded a higher division.

JAC 12th Result 2025: Revaluation

After the Jharkhand Intermediate Examination results are announced, the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) will release applications for rechecking and revaluation of class 12 results.

It must be noted that

• Students who wish to apply for rechecking or revaluation must fill out an application form and pay a fee of INR 200 per subject
• Applications for revaluation can only be submitted through the school that the student attended
• It is important to note that marks may increase or decrease after revaluation. If the marks decrease, no objections will be entertained. The revised marks will be considered as the final marks

JAC 12th Compartment Exam 2025

Students who fail one or two subjects in the JAC 12th board exams can appear for the JAC 12th compartment exams. The application form for the compartment exams will be released within a month of the announcement of the results. The compartment exams are usually conducted in the month of June, tentatively and the results for the same are released in the month of July.

JAC 12th Improvement Exam 2025

Students who have passed the JAC 12th exam but want to improve their scores can appear for the improvement exams conducted by the board. The improvement exams are only for the theory papers, and the practical marks will not be changed.
