UPSC Salary Latest Updates: The UPSC salary for an IAS officer is INR 56,100. At this level, the IAS officer is an Under-Secretary who receives a grade pay of 5400. While, the starting salary for IAS and IPS is same, the IAS salary increases over the time more than the IPS salary. The highest IAS salary at the level of the Cabinet Secretariat is INR 250,000.
