National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh offers a variety of programmes in engineering and technology. Currently, the Institute is offering B.Tech., M.Tech., Ph.D. and MS programmes. BTech is the flagship programme of the institute.

NIT Andhra Pradesh offers BTech and MTech programmes by the Departments of Bio-Technology Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Material & Metallurgy Engineering. Along with the above disciplines of engineering, the School of Sciences and the School of Humanities and Management offers PhD and MS programmes.

BTech Admissions are based on the scores of JEE Main examination. Seats for the programme are allocated through a common counselling process - JoSAA. For the MTech admissions, candidates must have a valid score in GATE examinations and must register to the CCMT counselling process.
