M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering
M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering is a postgraduate program offered by IIT Bhilai for a duration of 2 years. The M.Tech. course in electrical engineering is available in 3 specialisations - 1. Power Systems and Power Electronics; 2. Control and Instrumentation; and 3. Electric Vehicle Technology. - Candidates applying for the MTech programme at IIT Bhilai must have a valid GATE score.
- They are also required to register to the COAP portal. However, the application form will be available on the official website of IIT Bhilai.
- The qualifying degree for the post graduate programme is B.E./B.Tech/MSc with 60% marks.
- Candidates with BTech degree from IITs with minimum CGPA 8 are eligible for the course without any GATE score.
- Final admission will be offered based on the merit in GATE.
- The tuition fee for the M.Tech program at IIT Bhilai is INR 5,000 per semester.

The total fee for the MTech programme at IIT Bhilai is INR 72,375 for the first semester. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PwD categories with 7.5 CGPA in BTech from IITs are eligible to apply without GATE scores.
