Birla Institute of Technology Mesra - Patna campus offers a four year B.Tech. programme in Civil Engineering. Admissions to the undergraduate engineering programme at the BIT Patna campus is based on the scores of JEE Main exam and the seats are allocated through JoSAA and CSAB counselling.
Candidates willing to apply for the BTech programme at BIT Patna campus must note the details given below.
- Candidates must have a valid score in the JEE Main exam conducted by NTA.
- The minimum qualification for the programme is completion of the HSC (10+2) level examination from a recognized board.
- It is mandatory for all the applicants to have scored at least 75% marks in the qualifying examination. There are some relaxations for the reserved categories.
- Candidates must also have PCM/PCMB as subject combinations in their 10+2 level examination.
- Seats for the BTech programmes are allocated through a common counselling process - JoSAA. Applicants must register themselves through the official JoSAA online portal.
- At the end of JoSAA Rounds, vacant seats of the NIT+ system, if any, are filled through two additional CSAB-Special Rounds through its official website.
