JKSSB 2023 Syllabus: Check Subject-Wise Syllabus For Different Posts For Recruitment Exams

JKSSB Syllabus 2023:  The Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) prescribes the syllabus for different posts. The syllabus for the exam is divided into different annexures. The syllabus is released on the official website in the form of a PDF. Candidates appearing for the examination are advised to first check the syllabus available on the website. JKSSB syllabus plays an essential role for candidates appearing in the exam as without having in-depth knowledge candidates might not be able to score their desired marks. 

Candidates should note that the syllabus for the examination is different from one post to another. The JKSSB known as the Jammu, and Kashmir Services Selection Board is responsible for conducting recruitment exams for District / Divisional / UT Cadre posts in various departments. The minimum educational requirement ranges from having completed the candidate's 10+2 to having graduated from college in any stream.

Apart from the JKSSB syllabus, candidates are required to check the JKSSB marking scheme and JKSSB exam pattern. Both the information about the JKSSB marking scheme and exam pattern will be available on the official website. The candidates will be given questions on English language proficiency, mathematics, reasoning, general awareness and science in the written exam. After finishing the syllabus, candidates should review the JKSSB past exams.

JKSSB Syllabus 2023 

JKSSB syllabus plays an essential role for candidates who are appearing for the examination. The syllabus is available on the official website of JKSSB in its official notification. The syllabus is different for different positions offered by the exam conducting body. The JKSSB recruitment exam is a state-level exam and there are 4 stages for the selection process including a written exam, physical standard, physical endurance test, medical examination and document verification.

Changes Made in the JKSSB Syllabus 

There are a bunch of changes that have been made to the JKSS syllabus. Candidates can take a look at the changes that have been made. 

• One topic has been added to the section on general English.
• A few modules are removed from the General Knowledge section, while numerous new topics are introduced.
• The syllabus for the Jammu and Kashmir General Knowledge section has been reduced from 10 topics to just 8.
• The Indian Constitution is discussed instead of the J and K Constitution.
