AP TET Exam 2024: Dates, Notification, Application, Exam Pattern, Syllabus & Cutoff

AP TET Exam 2024: The Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh will release the official notification for the AP TET exam 2024 also known as Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test. The exam is for those candidates who wish to pursue their career in the teaching line. The AP TET exam is divided into two papers - Paper I and Paper II. Latest Updates:

• As per the official statement on the AP TET website, the result is now delayed. AP TET result release date will be announced after clarification from the Election Commission.
• The AP TET final answer key was released on March 14, 2024 at the official website.
• AP TET admit card 2024 was made available on February 23, 2024 at the official website, aptet.apcfss.in.
• The AP TET exam 2024 started from February 27 and will continue till March 9, 2024.
• The AP TET notification 2024 was released on the official website on February 7, 2024. 

To prepare for the exam, candidates must check the AP TET exam pattern for both the papers. Candidates who are interested in teaching students of classes 1 to 5 appear for the paper I, whereas candidates who are interested in teaching students of classes 6 to 8 appear for AP TET paper II. Candidates who are interested in teaching students from classes 1 to 8 can appear for both papers. Candidates who will qualify for the AP TET exam 2023 will be eligible to apply for the position of teacher in  Andhra Pradesh (Government/ ZP/ MP/ Municipal/ Recognised Private Aided & Private Unaided etc.) schools. 

AP TET Exam 2024

AP TET or better known as Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test is a state-level test conducted for those candidates who wish to appear to pursue teaching as their career. The exam conducting body is the Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, and the exam takes place in two shifts. Before filling the application form, candidates must check the APTET eligibility criteria.

AP TET exam is conducted once a year. The AP TET exam consists of two papers: Paper 1 is for candidates who wish to become teachers for classes 1 to 5, and Paper 2 is for candidates who wish to become teachers for classes 6 to 8. The exam is conducted in CBT mode (computer-based mode ) and consists of 150 MCQs (multiple choice questions).

AP TET Notification 2024

The official notification for AP TET is released on the official website. The notification contains all the important information regarding the details of the exam including the release date of application form, exam fees, exam centres, dates, and more. Candidates can download the AP TET Notification from the official website.

AP TET Exam Process 

In the first step, candidates need to fill out the AP TET application form online. To fill out the form, candidates need to go to the official website and download the form from there. Before submitting their application, candidates are advised to carefully read the information bulletin for the AP TET exam.

How to apply online for AP TET 2024?

Step 1: Candidates need to visit the official website of the education board 

Step 2: On the homepage, students will find the link that will read 'AP TET 2024 application form' -- click on that 

Step 3: Now, click on the link 

Step 4: Students have to fill in the application form and upload a recent photograph and signature 

Step 5: Now click on submit, with this a new page will open where candidates have to submit the fees 

Step: Click on submit 

Step 7: After clicking on submit, a reference ID will be generated and candidates have to save the reference ID for future use

AP TET Admit Card 2024

AP TET admit card is an essential document for all the candidates who are appearing for the teacher eligibility test. Candidates can download their AP TET hall tickets from the official website. Candidates should know that an admit card is an essential document and every candidate must have the document while appearing for the exam. 

If a candidate does not bring his or her hall ticket, then he or she will not be able to appear for the exam. The admit card is usually released 10 days or a week before the commencement of the exam. 

How to download the AP TET Admit Card?

Step 1: Go to the official website -- aptet.apcfss.in

Step 2: On the homepage, candidates will find the link that reads 'candidate login link' -- click on that 

Step 3: Now, the candidate needs to enter their details as asked such as ID or mobile number and date of birth 

Step 4: A new page will open which will have the candidate's admit card 

NOTE: Download the AP TET hall ticket pdf and take a printout of the document for future use. 

Once the candidate has downloaded the admit card, then they should check every detail thoroughly  such as the candidate’s name, photograph, signature, etc. 

AP TET Exam Dates 2024

AP TET Eligibility 2024 

Candidates who are preparing for the AP TET exam should be well aware of the APTET eligibility factor. Candidates should know the eligibility factor for both Papers I and Paper II  and their sub-part. AP TET Exam Pattern 2024

AP TET exam pattern 2024 will be released by the Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh. Candidates who wish to teach students of classes 1 to 8 appear for the teacher eligibility test. Through exam patterns, candidates will have a better knowledge of the weightage of topics and the exam's marking scheme.

AP TET Exam Pattern 2024 for paper 1 (Part A and B)

The AP TET paper 2 (part B) is for those candidates who wish to become teachers for classes 6 to 8 specifically for special schools. The maximum number of weightage in part B belongs to the Category of Disability Specialization and Pedagogy section.

AP TET Syllabus 2024

AP TET Syllabus 2024 is prescribed by the Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh.  Candidates should note that the AP TET syllabus 2024 differs for Paper 1 A-B and Paper 2 A-B. While the AP TET Paper 1 syllabus includes topics from five sections, the Paper 2 syllabus comprises topics from four sections. Further, there are three subjects in both the exams that are the same. 

Candidates learn the total number of sections, essential subjects, the division of questions by section, and the scoring system after perusing the thorough AP TET 2024 syllabus. 

As stated above, the syllabus for AP TET varies for both papers I and paper II. Paper I of the exam is almost similar to Parts A and B. 

AP TET Results and Cut-off 2024

AP TET results 2024 will be declared by the Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh. The AP TET results will be prepared through the normalization formula and will be released on the official website.
