SRMJEEE Counselling 2024: Check Dates, Steps to Register, Important Documents, and Merit List

SRMJEEE Counselling 2024: SRM Institute of Science and Technology conducts the SRMJEEE 2024 counselling. The phase 2 exam concluded on June 23, 2024, while result for the same was released on June 29, 2024. Candidates who qualified in the SRMJEEE exam phase 2 are eligible to apply for counselling. SRMJEEE counselling 2024 for phase 2 has started on July 1, 2024. Choice filling window was open till July 2, 2024. SRMJEEE seat allotment result for phase 2 was released on July 6, 2024. Last date to submit the fees online is July 10, 2024.

SRMJEEE result 2024 is released on the official website, srmist.edu. SRMIST also releases a merit list including all the qualified applicants. The invitation for counselling is sent out to all the eligible candidates. SRMIST shortlists the candidates based on various factors including marks obtained, exam rank, and SRMJEEE cut off 2024. The counselling is conducted in two phases, just like the examination.

SRMJEEE Counselling 2024: Procedure

The counselling for SRMJEEE 2024 is a long process. Candidates registered can have a look at the steps below to understand the SRMJEEE counselling process:

Step 1: Check your name in the merit list

Step 2: If your name is there in the merit list, then visit the official website, srmist.edu

Step 3: Click on the choice filling link and enter your course and campus preferences

Step 4: SRMIST will offer admission on the basis of choice, seats and course availability

Step 5: Seats will be allotted to all the eligible students

Step 6: You will have to confirm your seat by paying the seat allotment fees

SRMJEEE Counselling 2024: Choice Filling

Before the counselling begins, candidates are required to fill in their choice of course and institute. Once the candidates have qualified in the SRMJEEE exam, they will be offered admission according to their choice of institute and marks obtained. If the candidate is happy with the offer, they can move further to lock the seat by paying the fees. If they are not satisfied, they can wait for the next list or withdraw from the admission process.

SRMJEEE Counselling 2024: Fees

SRMIST offser admission to candidates based on their ranks in the merit list. If the candidates wish to accept the offer, they are required to lock their seats by paying the counselling fees. Candidates are required to pay the registration fee amount of 10,000 INR, along with 1,00,000 as counselling/partial tuition fee. The total amount payable is 1,10,000 INR to lock the admission offer. 

SRMJEEE Counselling 2024: Documents Required

During the counselling process, selected candidates are required to submit a few documents. These documents include:

• SRMJEEE Scorecard 2024
• Class 10th marksheet/certificate
• Class 12th marksheet/certificate
• SRMJEEE admit card 2024
• Photo ID proof issued by the government (Aadhar/PAN/Passport/Voter ID/Driving Licence)
• A cancelled cheque
• Receipt of the payment made for seat locking
