SRMJEEE Counselling 2026: Dates, Steps to Register, Important Documents, and Merit List

SRMJEEE Counselling 2026: The SRM Institute of Science and Technology will announce the SRMJEEE counselling date. The examination conducting body conducts the choice filling for SRMJEEE counselling after the results. Candidates who qualify for the exam are eligible to appear for the SRMJEEE counselling round. SRMJEE Counselling dates 2026 has been announced by the institute. It must be noted that the SRMJEEE Counselling is conducted after the SRMJEEE result 2026 for Phase 1 and Phase 2 is announced.

SRMJEEE result 2025 will be released on the official website, srmist.edu. SRMIST also releases a merit list including all the qualified applicants. The invitation for counselling is sent out to all the eligible candidates. SRMIST shortlists the candidates based on various factors including marks obtained, exam rank, and SRMJEEE cut off 2025. The counselling is conducted in two phases, just like the examination.

SRMJEEE Counselling 2026: Procedure

The counselling for SRMJEEE 2026 is a long process. Candidates registered can have a look at the steps below to understand the SRMJEEE counselling process:

Step 1: Check your name in the merit list

Step 2: If your name is there in the merit list, then visit the official website, srmist.edu

Step 3: Click on the choice filling link and enter your course and campus preferences

Step 4: SRMIST will offer admission on the basis of choice, seats and course availability

Step 5: Seats will be allotted to all the eligible students

Step 6: You will have to confirm your seat by paying the seat allotment fees

SRMJEEE Counselling 2026: Choice Filling

Candidates must select their preferred course and institute during the counseling process. Based on their SRMJEEE score and chosen institute, admission will be offered. If satisfied with the allotment, candidates can confirm their seat by paying the admission fee. Those who are not satisfied may either wait for the next round of allotments or choose to withdraw from the process.

SRMJEEE Counselling 2026: Fees

SRMIST offers admission to candidates based on their ranks in the merit list. If the candidates wish to accept the offer, they are required to lock their seats by paying the counselling fees. Candidates are required to pay the registration fee amount of 10,000 INR, along with 1,00,000 as counselling/partial tuition fee. The total amount payable is 1,10,000 INR to lock the admission offer. 

SRMJEEE Counselling 2026: Documents Required

During the counselling process, selected candidates are required to submit a few documents. These documents include:

• SRMJEEE Scorecard 2026
• Class 10th marksheet/certificate
• Class 12th marksheet/certificate
• SRMJEEE admit card 2026
• Photo ID proof issued by the government (Aadhar/PAN/Passport/Voter ID/Driving Licence)
• A cancelled cheque
• Receipt of the payment made for seat locking
