Karnataka DCET Result 2025: Steps to Check, Direct Link, Details Mentioned, Tie-Breaking Rule

DCET Result 2025: The result for Diploma Common Entrance Test (DCET) will be released by the Karnataka Examinations Authority in the online mode. To check DCET results, candidates can visit the official KEA website - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Tentatively, the results are expected to be released in June 2025.  However, the official date has not been confirmed by the exam-conducting authorities as of now.

The results are released in the form of a rank card containing essential information such as candidate's name, roll number, aggregate marks and rank obtained in Karnataka DCET 2025. Once the result link is available, candidates can download the rank card by entering their DCET number in the designated field. Upon downloading the rank card, candidates must carefully review the details mentioned on it. Last year, KEA released DCET results on June 29, 2024.

DCET 2025 Result - How to check?

Candidates will be able to access their DCET results by following the steps outlined below.

Step 1: Visit the official website - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘Admissions’ tab and select ‘Diploma CET 2025’.

Step 3: Locate the ‘DCET 2025 Result’ link and click on it.

Step 4: Login using required credentials such as DCET number.

Step 5: Now, click on the ‘Submit’ option.

Step 6: DCET results will be displayed on the screen.

Step 7: Download and take a printout for future reference.

Karnataka DCET Result 2025 - Details Mentioned

Candidates must review the details mentioned in the DCET result upon downloading. In case of any discrepancy, candidates can contact the exam authorities. The rank card consists of important details including:

DCET Merit List 2025

Karnataka DCET merit list for admission to B.E/B.Tech Courses will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the final year examination (fifth and sixth semesters) of the Diploma course and marks obtained in the DCET exam taken in equal proportions.

In the case of Architecture Course, the merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying examination in all subjects and the valid NATA score taken in equal proportions.

DCET Result 2025 Tie-breaking Rule

In case of a tie between the marks obtained by two candidates, the following tie-breaking procedure will be followed:

• Candidate with higher marks in the DCET entrance test will be given preference
• If a tie still persists, it will be resolved on the basis of marks obtained in the second year (third & fourth semester) 
• If a tie still exists, the candidate with higher marks in the first year (first & second semester) will be given preference
•  In case the marks obtained by the candidates are still the same, then the merit will be determined on the basis of age of the candidates, wherein the older candidate will be given preference.
