Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA)
The Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) is a two year full time residential diploma programme, jointly offered by IIM Calcutta, IIT Kharagpur, and Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata (ISI). It aims to help shape the emerging profession of business analytics by reputed faculty members at the campuses of three globally renowned institutes.
The main highlights of the PGDBA programme at IIM Calcutta are as follows:
- Candidates willing to apply for the PG Diploma admission at IIM Calcutta must have a valid PGDBA entrance exam score.
- The minimum eligibility for the course is a bachelor’s or master's degree (B.Tech./ B.E./ M.Tech./ M.Sc./ M.Com. or equivalent) from a recognized institution/university.
- Candidates must have scored at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA in the qualifying degree. There are some exemptions for the reserved categories.
- Based on the entrance exam score, candidates are shortlisted for a Personal Interview (PI).
- The final selection is based on the PGDBA score, Academic Profile, Work Experience and performance in the Personal Interview.

For PGDBA admission at IIM Calcutta, candidates must have:
- A valid PGDBA entrance exam score
- B.Tech./ B.E./ M.Tech./ M.Sc./ M.Com. or equivalent from a recognized institution
- Scored 60% or above in the qualifying degree
- Merit in Personal Interview
Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD must have scored 55% marks in the qualifying degree.
