The Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing is located in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh was established under the Andhra Pradesh reorganisation Act 2014, later in the year 2015 Andhra Pradesh government allocated the permanent campus of the institution spread across 152 acres of land in Kurnool. The institution is fully funded by the Ministry of Education and runs its academic program under the support of its mentor institute, IIITDM Kancheepuram. The institute has been granted status of national importance and has been approved by AICTE.
