MBOSE HSSLC Exam 2026: The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) conducts the MBOSE class 12 board exams annually. The MBOSE HSSLC exam 2026 is expected to be conducted in February-March 2026. Last year, the Meghalaya Board Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) exams were conducted from February 18 to March 19, 2025, in pen and paper format while the Meghalaya board class 12 result out on May 5, 2025 in online mode. The overall pass percentage in science, commerce and arts streams were 84.84%, 84.96% and 87.34% respectively.

About Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE)

The Meghalaya Board Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) exam for class 12th students is conducted by the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE). Students can opt for languages including English, Khasi, Garo, Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, Nepali, and Mizo while applying for the exams.

MBOSE Class 12 Admit Card 2026

The Meghalaya Board of School Education will provide the MBOSE class 12 admit cards directly to the schools. Students can collect their respective hall tickets from their schools. It is mandatory to bring the MBOSE HSSLC admit card 2026 to the exam center as no student will be allowed to enter the exam hall without it.

MBOSE HSSLC Exam Pattern 2026

The MBOSE class 12 exam pattern can be checked from the official website of the Meghalaya board. The paper will be held for the duration of 3 hours. The subjects are categorized into science, commerce, humanities, modern Indian languages, elective languages, and vocational fields with a total score of 100 marks. MBOSE Class 12th papers are divided into multiple-choice and objective-based questions. There are a total of four vocational subject papers, two of these papers are 45 mins with 2-hour duration.

The syllabus for the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) 2026 will be available on the official website. The syllabus will be followed as per NCERT/CBSE syllabus for all subjects. Students appearing for the MBOSE HSSLC exams are required to check the CBSE syllabus for respective subjects and prepare accordingly as per the marking scheme and unit weightage. MBOSE Class 12 Result 2026

The Meghalaya Board will announce the MBOSE HSSLC result for Science, Commerce and Vocational streams in online mode. Students can check their class 12 results online by visiting the official website - megresults.nic.in, once released. To access the results, students have to use their board roll number. Students must note that the MBOSE HSSLC result 2026 are provisional in nature. They will have to collect their original mark sheet from their schools. Last year, the MBOSE HSSLC Result was out on May 5, 2025.
