What's New in UPSC CMS Result 2023?  The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) releases the final marks of recommended candidates for UPSC CMS 2023. The commission released the result PDF at upsc.gov.in. Candidates who passed the UPSC CMS 2023 exam can check their final marks. A total of 576 candidates were recommended by the commission.

Earlier, UPSC announced the UPSC CMS result 2023. The result has been released on the official website. In order to check and download the result, candidates must visit the UPSC CMS login and use their credentials. UPSC CMS Result 2023 consists of the roll number of candidates who have qualified for the examination. Now, the commission has also released the DAF. With the release of DAF, the commission is set to release the UPSC CMS Interview date on its official webiste. 

What is UPSC CMS DAF? 

UPSC CMS DAF refers to the application form which candidates need to fill. Only those candidates who would have qualified the UPSC Written exam will be eligible to fill the UPSC CMS DAF. UPSC CMS Results 2023

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)  releases UPSC Combined Medical Service Examination (CMS) results on the official webiste. The UPSC CMS result is released in the form of PDF containing the roll numbers and marks of the shortlisted candidates. Candidates who will clear the UPSC CMS written exam will then be called for the interview round. 

UPSC CMS final result is declared after the successful completion of the interview round. Along with the final result, the commission also releases the UPSC CMS cut off 2023. Further, the commission releases the UPSC CMS category-wise cut off 2023. The UPSC CMS cut off (out of 500) for the General category candidate was 241 last year. However, the UPSC CMS final cutoff (out of 600) was 324. 

Students who appeared for the UPSC CMS exam 2023 on July 16, 2023 have to achieve qualifying marks to pass the exam. The UPSC CMS qualifying marks for the non-PwBD candidates are set as 25% (each paper), whereas candidates belonging to the PwBD category get a minimum of 10% qualifying marks for each paper. However, achieving qualifying marks does not guarantee the call for the interview round. Candidates should be aware that they need to qualify for both papers in order to be eligible to appear for the UPSC CMS interview round 2023. UPSC has a provision of tie-breaking rules in case two or more candidates score the same marks.  As per UPSC CMS Tie-breaking rules, a tie will be resolved by giving preference to a candidate who is older in age. If a tie still persists, the date/year of completion of the internship will be considered to resolve the issue.
