UPES Dehradun offers a Ph.D program in Management through its School of Business. It is a full-time doctoral program equipped with a research-oriented curriculum for aspiring scholars and industry professionals. The program duration ranges from 3 to maximum 6 years.
The main highlights of the doctoral program at UPES Dehradun are as follows:
- Candidates willing to apply for admission to the PhD program at UPES must appear for UPES Research Entrance Test (RET)
- Candidates having a valid score in UGC-NET/ GATE/ SET/ GPAT/ CSIR are exempted from RET.
- The minimum eligibility for the doctoral program is a Master’s degree or an equivalent professional degree from a recognized institution/university.
- Candidates must have scored minimum 55 percent marks in the qualifying degree. There are some exemptions for the reserved categories.
- Based on the test score, candidates are shortlisted for a personal interview.
- The final selection will be based on the scores of the entrance exam, research proposal, evaluation of past academic performance, research interest, relevant work experience and performance in the personal interview.
