Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP)
Post Graduate Programme (PGP) at IIM Shillong is a full time, two-year residential flagship programme of the institute. On successful completion of the two year PGP course, students are awarded a Master of Business Administration(MBA) degree.
The main highlights of the PGP programme at IIM Shillong are as follows:
- Candidates willing to apply for the PGP admission at IIM Shillong must have a valid score in CAT.
- The minimum eligibility for the course is a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution/university.
- Candidates must have scored at least 50% marks in the qualifying degree. There are some exemptions for the reserved categories.
- Based on the CAT percentile, candidates are shortlisted for the Personal Interview (PI) process.
- The candidates, who have scored more than or equal to the Minimum Performance Requirement (MPR) in the PI, will be considered for the final merit list for the PGP Admission.
- The Academic profile and the work experience of the candidates are also taken into consideration while preparing the merit list.

For PGP admission at IIM Shillong, candidates must have:
- A valid CAT Score
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution
- Scored 50% or above in the qualifying degree
- Merit in Personal Interview
Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD must have scored 45% marks in the qualifying degree and appeared for the CAT exam.
