B.Tech. in Biotechnology
Delhi Technological University (DTU) offers a four year B.Tech. programme in Biotechnology.The minimum eligibility for the undergraduate course is passed in 10+2 level examination. The main highlights of the undergraduate course at DTU are as follows:
- Candidates must have a valid score in JEE Main.
- They must have passed the 10+2 examination from CBSE/ ISC/ any examination recognised as equivalent to CBSE.
- In the qualifying examination, candidates must have scored minimum 60% marks with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subject combination and passed in English. There are some exceptions for the reserved categories.
- It is mandatory for them to have PCM/PCMB as subject combinations at the intermediate level.
- Candidates are required to participate in the common counselling platform, Joint Admission Committee, JAC Delhi.
- Selection for the course is based on the ranks secured in JEE Main through JAC Counselling.
- The total seat intake for the course is 75 seats. 85% of the total seats are reserved for the Delhi Region Candidates. Some seats are also reserved for SC, ST, OBC, EWS and Defence.

For BTech admission at DTU, candidates must have:
- A valid JEE Main Score
- Passed 10+2 level examination from CBSE/ ISC or equivalent
- PCM/PCMB as subject combination at the intermediate level
- Scored 60% or above in the qualifying degree
- Participated in the JAC counselling
Candidates belonging to OBC/Defence must have scored minimum 55% marks and SC/ST/PwD candidates must have scored at least 50% marks in 10+2 level examination for the BTech admissions.
