UPSSSC PET Exam 2025: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission Preliminary Eligibility Test (UPSSC-PET) will be conducted on September 6 and 7, 2025 in two shifts. The UPSSSC PET 2025 city intimation slip was made public on August 27 by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC) on their official website- upsssc.gov.in. The UPSSSC PET Admit Card 2025 was released on September 1, 2025 on the official website.

The main aim of the exam is to conduct civil service exams to recruit candidates for various Group B and Group C posts. The exam conducting body has released an official notification regarding the UPSSSC PET exam 2025. The UPSSSC registration was started on May 14, 2025 and the last day to register was June 17, 2025. As per the official notification, to be eligible for UPSSSC PET 2025 Exam, candidates must be between the age group of 18-40 years and must have completed Class 10th exam to be eligible for the post.

The exam conducting body has released the UPSSSC PET syllabus and exam pattern along with official notice on the official website. The UPSSSC PET Syllabus comprises sections on Indian History, Indian National Movement, Geography, Indian Economy, Indian Constitution & Public Administration, General Science, Elementary Arithmetic, General Hindi, General English, Logic & Reasoning, Current Affairs, General Awareness, Analysis of 2 Unseen Hindi Passage and Graph Analysis & Interpretation. As per the UPSSSC Exam Pattern, the exam will have 100 questions for 100 marks. The exam will be conducted for a total duration of 2 hours. For every wrong answer, there will be a negative marking. 1/4th marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. The result for UPSSSC PET Exam 2025 will be released on the official UPSSSC website- upsssc.gov.in after the exam is successfully concluded. 

Candidates must know that the UPSSSC application form was made available online. However, before filling the application form, candidates are required to check the eligibility criteria for the exam. • The UPSSSC PET Admit card 2025 was released on September 1, 2025 in online mode. Candidates appearing for the examination can download the hall ticket from the official website - upsssc.gov.in.
• The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC) released the UPSSSC PET 2025 City Intimation slip on the official website at upsssc.gov.in on August 27, 2025. This slip tells candidates the exam city where their test will take place, helping them prepare for travel.     

Only the registered candidates will be eligible to get the UPSSSC PET admit card. The admit card is an essential document to be carried by the candidate while appearing for the examination. UPSSSC PET Exam 2025

The UPPSC PET exam is conducted for candidates interested in Group B or Group C posts. Prior to releasing the results, the exam conducting body will release the answer keys. There are two types of answer keys including the provisional answer key and the final answer key. The provisional answer key helps the candidate to raise objections, the final answer key will help the candidates to calculate their scores in the results.

After the results are released, the exam conducting body will release a UPSSSC PET cut-off. Candidates can check the UPSSSC PET exam cut-off on the official website. The cut-off is the minimum mark that a candidate needs to score in order to qualify for the exam. Qualifying candidates 

UPSSSC PET Eligibility 2025

UPSSSC PET eligibility criteria is released along with the official exam notification. If the candidate fulfils all the eligibility criteria, then they can easily apply for the examination. The UPSSSC PET application form is released by the UPSSSC on the official website. Candidates who are willing to appear UPSSSC PET exam are required to fill in the application form. There are various steps which need to be filled while the application form is filled out. These steps include filling in the details on the application form, uploading the necessary documents, and then paying the application fees. UPSSSC PET Admit Card 2025

Once the application form is successfully submitted, candidates will be eligible to get their UPSSSC PET admit card. The UPSSSC PET admit card is released by the UPSSSC on its official website. Candidates can check and download the hall ticket by logging in on the official portal. In order to download the hall tickets, candidates must have their roll number and DOB. 

Candidates must know that without the hall ticket, they will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. Hence, it is very important for candidates to carry their hall tickets inside the exam hall. 

UPSSSC PET Syllabus 2025

The UPSSSC PET syllabus is released on the official website of the UPSSSC. The syllabus plays an essential role for candidates while preparing for the examination. Candidates must know that there are 15 subjects including The Indian Economy, General Hindi, General Science, Indian History, The National Movement, Geography,  and unseen passages. Further, these subjects are divided into sub-topics. The examination will be of 100 marks in total.

UPSSSC PET Exam Pattern 2025

The UPSSSC PET exam pattern is released by the UPSSSC on the official website. The UPSSSC exam pattern and marking scheme are all included in the official announcement that the UPSSSC provides. The primary goal of the exam pattern is to provide information on a variety of subjects, such as the duration of the exam, whether negative markings will be used, the format of the exam, and others. 

Candidates should be aware that the UPSSSC exam is conducted in offline mode and the duration of the exam is for two hours.
