UPSSSC PET Exam 2024: Notification, Registration, Eligibility, Syllabus, Cut off & Result

UPSSSC PET Exam 2024: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission Preliminary Eligibility Test is conducted by the UPSSSC. The main aim of the exam is to conduct civil service exams to recruit candidates for various Group B and Group C posts. Currently, the exam conducting body is yet to release an official notification regarding the UPSSSC PET exam 2024. The UPSSSC application form will be released soon after the exam notification is out.

• The UPSSSC registration deadline for Junior Engineer (JE) exam has been extended to July 13, 2024.

Only the registered candidates will be eligible to get the UPSSSC PET admit card. The admit card is an essential document to be carried by the candidate while appearing for the examination. UPSSSC PET Exam 2024

The UPPSC PET exam is conducted for candidates interested in Group B or Group C posts. Prior to releasing the results, the exam conducting body will release the answer keys. There are two types of answer keys including the provisional answer key and the final answer key. The provisional answer key helps the candidate to raise objections, the final answer key will help the candidates to calculate their scores in the results.

After the results are released, the exam conducting body will release a UPSSSC PET cut-off. Candidates can check the UPSSSC PET exam cut-off on the official website. The cut-off is the minimum mark that a candidate needs to score in order to qualify for the exam. Qualifying candidates 

UPSSSC PET Eligibility 2024

UPSSSC PET eligibility criteria is released along with the official exam notification. If the candidate fulfils all the eligibility criteria, then they can easily apply for the examination. UPSSSC PET Application Form 2024

The UPSSSC PET application form is released by the UPSSSC on the official website. Candidates who are willing to appear UPSSSC PET exam are required to fill in the application form. There are various steps which need to be filled while the application form is filled out. These steps include filling in the details on the application form, uploading the necessary documents, and then paying the application fees. Once all these steps are completed, candidates can easily submit their application forms. 

UPSSSC PET Admit Card 2024

Once the application form is successfully submitted, candidates will be eligible to get their UPSSSC PET admit card. The UPSSSC PET admit card is released by the UPSSSC on its official website. Candidates can check and download the hall ticket by logging in on the official portal. In order to download the hall tickets, candidates must have their roll number and DOB. 

Candidates must know that without the hall ticket, they will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. Hence, it is very important for candidates to carry their hall tickets inside the exam hall. 

UPSSSC PET Syllabus 2024

The UPSSSC PET syllabus is released on the official website of the UPSSSC. The syllabus plays an essential role for candidates while preparing for the examination. Candidates must know that there are 15 subjects including The Indian Economy, General Hindi, General Science, Indian History, The National Movement, Geography,  and unseen passages. Further, these subjects are divided into sub-topics. The examination will be of 100 marks in total.

UPSSSC PET Exam Pattern 2024

The UPSSSC PET exam pattern is released by the UPSSSC on the official website. The UPSSSC exam pattern and marking scheme are all included in the official announcement that the UPSSSC provides. The primary goal of the exam pattern is to provide information on a variety of subjects, such as the duration of the exam, whether negative markings will be used, the format of the exam, and others. 

Candidates should be aware that the UPSSSC exam is conducted in offline mode and the duration of the exam is for two hours. Candidates are recommended to check the UPSSSC PET marking scheme in addition to the exam pattern.  Candidates can take a look at the following UPSSSC PET exam pattern down below 

• The UPSSSC PET exam is conducted offline. Candidates have to appear for the examination in pen-and-paper mode.
• For each right answer, candidates will reward with 1 mark 
• The UPSSSC PET exam has negative marking which means that 1.4 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer
• The total marks of the UPSSSC PET exam are set as 100 marks and the duration of the UPSSC PET exam is set as 2 hours
• The UPSSSC PET exam will be taken in MCQ format and candidates have to fill the OMR sheets to answer the questions
• The examination question will have an intermediate degree of difficulty.

UPSSSC PET Results 2024

The UPSSSC releases the UPSSSC PET results on the official website. Candidates who appeared in the exam can visit the official portal of the exam conducting body and check their results. Further, candidates should know that they need to enter the credentials to log in and check their results. The UPSSSC result consists of the candidate's name, DOB, gender, the candidate’s parent's name and others. 

UPSSSC PET Cut-Off 2024

After releasing the results, the UPSSSC will release the UPSSSC PET cut-off 2024. The cut-off is released on the official website. The UPSSSC PET cut-off is the minimum mark that a candidate needs to score in order to qualify for the examination. Since the UPSSSC PET exam is conducted for various posts, the exam conducting body releases the cut-off separately for all the posts.
