BCECE Result 2023: Check Tie-Breaking Policy, Scorecard, Cut off

BCECE Result 2023 has been announced on the official website of the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB). Candidates can visit the official website of BCECEB and check their results using their credentials. Candidates who clear the BCECE 2023 examination will be eligible to appear in the BCECE Counselling 2023 round. 

As per the BCECE qualifying criteria, the qualifying mark for the General Category is 50% and for the General Category (physically handicapped) is 45%. Whereas, the qualifying marks for both the Reserved Category (SC/ST/OBC) and Reserved Category (physically handicapped) are 40%. Candidates can refer to the official BCECE prospectus 2023 for further information. The board is yet to release the BCECE prospectus for 2023.

In case two or more candidates have the same score in the BCECE Exam 2023, then the final rank of the candidates will be ascertained with the help of the BCECE tie-breaking policy. Only the candidates who satisfy the exam qualifying criteria will be eligible to appear in the BCECE Counselling 2023.

Steps to Download BCECE Rank Card 2023

Candidates can check their BCECE result 2023 with the help of the following steps:

• Go to the official website of BCECE
• On the website’s homepage, click on the link for “Download Rank Card of BCECE 2023”
• Next, select the course for which you have appeared
• Then, log into your account by entering credentials like your BCECE roll number and your date of birth
• The BCECE result 2023 will then be displayed on your screen
• You can download your BCECE scorecard 2023, take its print, and keep it safely for future reference

BCECE 2023: Qualifying Criteria

Candidates who fulfil the BCECE qualifying criteria will be eligible to participate in the BCECE counselling process 2023.

The category-wise qualifying marks for the BCECE examination are as follows:

• BCECE Qualifying marks for General Category - 50%
• BCECE Qualifying marks for General Category (Physically Handicapped) - 45%
• BCECE Qualifying marks for Reserved Category (SC/ST/OBC) - 40%
• BCECE Qualifying marks for Reserved Category (Physically Handicapped) - 40%

BCECE Scorecard 2023

The BCECE scorecard 2023 will contain the candidate’s name, score and rank secured in the BCECE examination 2023. Candidates must ensure that they carry their scorecard 2023 during the time of counselling along with other important documents.

BCECE Result 2023: Tie-breaking Policy In case two or more candidates obtain the same marks, then the following tie-breaking policy will be used by the board to ascertain the final ranks of the candidates. BCECE Tie-breaking Policy for Medical Courses

• If two or more candidates have the same overall score, then the candidate with higher score in Biology will be given a higher rank
• If two or more candidates have the same overall score and also have the same score in Biology, then the candidate with higher score in Chemistry will be given a higher rank
• If two or more candidates have the same overall score and also have the same score in Biology and Chemistry, then the candidate older in age will be given a higher rank

BCECE Tie-breaking Policy for Agriculture and Pharmacy Courses

• If two or more candidates have the same overall score, then the candidate with 
• Higher score in Biology (in case of PCB) will be given a higher rank

OR

• Higher score in Mathematics (in case of PCM) will be given a higher rank
• If two or more candidates have the same overall score, and they also have the same score in Mathematics/Biology, then the candidate with
• Higher score in Chemistry (in case of PCB) will be given a higher rank

OR

• Higher score in Physics (in case of PCM) will be given a higher rank
• If two or more candidates have the same overall score, and also have the same score in Mathematics/Biology and Chemistry/Physics, then the candidate older in age will be given a higher rank

BCECE Tie-breaking Policy for 50% reserved seats of Agriculture courses (Agriculture/Horticulture)

• If two or more candidates have the same overall score, then the candidate with a higher score in Agriculture Science will be given a higher rank
• If two or more candidates have the same overall score and also have the same score in Agriculture science, then the candidate with a higher score in Biology/Chemistry will be given a higher rank
• If two or more candidates have the same overall score and also have the same score in Agriculture Science and Biology/Chemistry, then the candidate older in age will be given a higher rank
