BCECE Counselling 2023: The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has announced the first round of seat allotment results for the BCECE counselling 2023. The results are now available on the official BCECEB website. The BCECE counselling process began on September 1, 2023, and the second round of seat allotment results will be published on September 15, 2023. The results of the BCECE 2023 exam were declared on July 23, 2023. Candidates who have cleared the BCECE 2023 entrance exam with the required marks and satisfy the eligibility criteria can appear for the BCECE counselling 2023 process. Candidates must appear for the BCECE counselling process within the stipulated time and complete all the formalities in order to secure their admission into the various medical, engineering, and agricultural institutes in the state of Bihar. Candidates must note that they will be required to register for participating in the BCECE counselling process. At the time of counselling, candidates must report to their respective institutes in the stipulated time period. Candidates must carry all the important documents to the counselling venue. These include 10th and 12th marksheets, BCECE scorecard, admit card, category certificate, BCECE application form (Part A and Part B), domicile certificates etc.

BCECE Counselling Process 2023: Explained

Candidates must ensure that they complete all the formalities involved in the BCECE counselling process in order to confirm their admission.

Below mentioned are the steps involved in the BCECE counselling process 2023:

Step 1: Online Registration

  • Candidate who qualify the cutoff criteria are required to register to take part in the BCECE counselling process
  • Candidates will have to log into the official website of BCECE and enter the following credentials to register for the counselling round: candidate’s BCECE roll number, candidate’s name and date of birth, father’s Name, candidate’s address, mobile number etc.

Step 2: Online Option Entry

  • Once the candidate has registered for the BCECE counselling, they will be required to select the institute which they want admission into
  • Candidates will be required to select their preferred institutes from the list of institutes made available by the board
  • Once the candidates have selected their preferred institutes, they will have to lock and submit their selected choices
  • Candidates can then take a print out of their locked choices and keep it safely for further use/reference

Step 3: Provisional Seat Allotment

  • Once the candidates have locked and submitted the names of their chosen institutes, candidates will receive the BCECE provisional seat allotment letter shortly
  • Candidates can easily check and download their provisional seat allotment letter by logging into their applicant account 
  • Candidates must note that they will be allotted seats on the basis of their selected institutes, their score in the entrance examination and the availability of seats in the respective institutes and courses/streams
  • Candidates can take a print out of their provisional seat allotment letter and secure it for future reference/use
  • Candidates are required to carry the hard copy of their provisional seat allotment letter to their respective counselling venue along with the other required documents

Step 4: Document Verification and Seat Confirmation

  • Once the candidates have received their seat allotment letter, they are required to visit the institutes allotted to them in order to complete the admission procedure
  • Candidates must compulsorily carry all the required documents, that have been mentioned above in the article, to their respective institutes
  • Candidates must get their documents verified at the institute 
  • As per the final step, candidates are required to pay the admission fee to their respective institutes and get their admission confirmed
