TJEE 2026: Dates, Eligibility Criteria, Registration, Admit Card, Exam Pattern, Syllabus, Answer Key & Result

The TJEE Exam Date 2026 will be announced by the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE). The exam is expected to be held in April 2026 for four different subjects i.e., Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. The Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (TJEE) exam conducting body will release the application form in February 2026. Candidates can apply for the exam from the official website tbjee.nic.in.  

There has been not any official notification yet, the TJEE registration form 2026 is expected to be closed in March 2026. The TJEE 2026 will be held in an offline (pen-and-paper) format, with students required to appear for relevant subject papers based on their chosen field of study. The authority will release the TBJEE 2026 admit card in the Second week of April, 2026. Those candidates who successfully register them for the TJEE exam 2026 will be able to download their admit card.

The examination authority released the official TJEE prospectus 2026 in online mode. Candidates can check the details related to exam dates in the table below.

Tripura TJEE Registration 2026

The TJEE application form 2026 is expected to be close from second week of March 2026. The application form will be released on official website - tbjee.nic.in. In order to appear for the exam, candidates must fill the registration form and pay the application fee set by TBJEE. The TJEE application fee can be paid online using Debit/Credit card or via Netbanking. Male candidates belonging to General category must pay INR 550/- whereas those belonging to SC/ST must pay INR 450/-. Moreover, all Female** and BPL (male & female) candidates will have to pay INR 350/- to submit the TJEE registration form online.

TJEE Eligibility Criteria 2026

The eligibility criteria set by TBJEE majorly includes aspects like nationality, domicile and educational qualifications. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility conditions will be allowed to appear for TJEE 2026. 

To take the TJEE 2026, candidates must: 

• Be a citizen of India.
• Be a permanent resident of Tripura or have their parents residing in Tripura for no less than 10 years.
• Passed or appeared in Higher Secondary Examination of Tripura Board of Secondary Education/Central Board of Secondary Education or equivalent examination.

TJEE Admit Card 2026

The TJEE 2026 Admit Card is a crucial document that will be issued a few weeks prior to the exam, tentatively in April 2026. Candidates must visit the official TBJEE website, tbjee.nic.in, and log in using their registration number and password to download the admit card. Only those who have successfully completed the registration process and paid the application fee will be eligible to access and download the hall ticket.

The admit card contains important information such as the candidate's name, roll number, photograph, exam date and time, exam centre address, and essential instructions for the examination day. It is mandatory for candidates to carry the admit card, along with a valid photo ID proof, to the exam centre. Without these documents, entry to the examination hall will not be permitted. 

Candidates are advised to carefully check all the details on the admit card for any discrepancies and report any issues to the TBJEE authorities for correction. Furthermore, they should follow all guidelines mentioned on the admit card, such as reporting time and prohibited items. TJEE Exam Pattern 2026

The TJEE 2026 exam pattern consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) divided into three key subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology, depending on the candidate's chosen field. Each subject is conducted in a separate session, with 30 questions per subject, carrying 4 marks each. The exam will be held in offline mode (pen-and-paper) and is designed to test the candidate's conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills. For every incorrect answer, there will be a deduction of 1 mark as part of the negative marking scheme. The duration for each subject paper is 90 minutes.

Tripura JEE Syllabus 2026

The TJEE 2026 syllabus is based on the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) curriculum, covering topics from Classes 11 and 12 in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. 

• Physics includes topics like mechanics, heat and thermodynamics, waves, optics, electricity, and magnetism.
• Chemistry covers physical, organic, and inorganic chemistry topics, including atomic structure, chemical bonding, thermodynamics, equilibrium, hydrocarbons, and coordination compounds.
• Mathematics focuses on algebra, trigonometry, calculus, probability, and vectors.
• Biology comprises sections on botany and zoology, including topics like cell biology, genetics, evolution, plant physiology, and human anatomy.

TJEE Answer Key 2026

The TJEE 2026 answer key is expected to be released by the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) in the first week of May 2026. The official link to download the TJEE 2026 answer key PDF will be made available on the TBJEE website, tbjee.nic.in. Candidates who appeared for the exam can use this answer key to cross-check their answers and calculate their probable scores before the official result is declared.

Initially, a preliminary answer key will be published, and candidates will have the opportunity to raise objections if they find any discrepancies or errors. After reviewing the objections, TBJEE will release the final TJEE 2026 answer key which can not be further challenged. 

TJEE Result 2026

The TJEE 2026 Result will be announced by the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) on their official website, tbjee.nic.in. To access the result, candidates must log in using their roll number and date of birth. The result will display the candidate's marks and rank obtained in the Tripura Joint Entrance Examination. The exact date for the result declaration will be posted online by the authorities. 

Along with the TJEE 2026 result, the merit list will also be released, listing candidates based on their performance. Those who qualify will be eligible to participate in the counselling process for seat allotment.
