CAPF Result 2024: Notification Out, Exam Dates

CAPF Exam 2024: Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) 2024 Notification is released on the official website of  Unoion Public Service Commission (UPSC), upsc.gov.in. CAPF Exam is scheduled on August 4, 2024. Aspirants who will appear for the examination can check their results on the website. Successful candidates in the CAPF exam 2024 will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test/Physical Standard Test. Once they clear the CAPF PET/PST round, they will qualify for the interview phase.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will announce the UPSC CAPF AC Result 2024 on its official website. This year, a total of 506 vacancies are out. The vacancies are for five Armed Forces, BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP and SSB.

The CAPF final result will be released in the form of a PDF containing the roll numbers and names of selected candidates. UPSC will also announce the CAPF cutoff 2024 on its official website.

CAPF Result 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announces the CAPF result on the official website. The selected candidates are then called for the physical standard/physical efficiency test (PST/PET). The CAPF final merit list is prepared on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in the written examination and interview/personality test. The final merit list includes the names of candidates who are recommended by the commission to join as Assistant Commandants in the armed police forces.

UPSC also releases the CAPF cutoff once the selection process is completed. The CAPF selection process includes three stages: (i) written examination, (ii) physical standard/physical efficiency test, & (iii) interview/personality test.

CAPF Result 2024

CAPF result will be announced tentatively in Last Week of August 2024. The exam will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on August 4, 2024.

Selected candidates will go through PST/PET after the CAPF result is released. However, before aspirants appear for CAPF PST/PET, they are required to fill out the detailed application form (DAF). Candidates who are deemed qualified must then show up for the interview stage. Candidates who made it to the interview round must once more complete the online detailed application form.

How to Check CAPF Result 2024?

The UPSC CAPF result will be released after the successful completion of the written exam. Candidates can check the steps below to know how to download the result:

• Visit the official website of UPSC
• Click on the CAPF result section available on the homepage
• Upon clicking, candidates will be able to see the direct link of the result PDF
• The result PDF will have the roll number and names of the candidates selected for the next round.
• Candidates can use the shortcut key Ctrl+F to find their roll number and name.
• In case the list contains the candidate's name and roll number, they are selected for PST/PET.
• Download the PDF and save it for future reference.

CAPF 2024 Scorecard

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) releases the CAPF scorecard on its official website once the final result is declared after the conclusion of the interview/personality test. The scorecard released by UPSC contains the following details:

• Name of the candidate
• Roll number of the candidate
• Date of Birth
• Mark obtained by the candidate

Public Disclosure of marks & other details of non-recommended willing candidates

UPSC also releases the marks obtained by those candidates who are not recommended for the position of Assistant Commandant in the armed police forces. However, for the disclosure of marks candidates must opt for it while filling out the CAPF application form. The list remains available on the official website for the period of one year. Aspirants can download the PDF and save it for their future reference.

CAPF Answer Key 2024

The CAPF answer key is released by UPSC after the successful completion of the exam selection process. The answer key is released on the official website for all four sets ((Set A, Set B, Set C, & Set D) for CAPF Paper I.

However, candidates would be able to check the unofficial answer key after the written exam is held. The unofficial answer keys are released by various coaching institutes.

CAPF DAF Form 2024

Candidates selected for the CAPF PET/PST are required to fill out the online detailed application form. To fill out the DAF, candidates must register themselves on the official website of UPSC and then upload scanned copies of documents as required in the application form. 

UPSC also asks candidates to fill out the DAF once again if they are selected for the interview/personality test. In this form, candidates are required to specify their preferred armed police force along with other necessary details.

CAPF Cutoff 2024

The CAPF cutoff is a minimum score that candidates need to meet in order to move on to the next stage of the selection process. The UPSC recommends candidates for the position of Assistant Commandant in paramilitary forces who meet the CAPF final cutoff score. The last recommended candidate's score is used to determine the final cutoff. The final cutoff score is released out of 600 marks (written exam + interview), where the interview carries 150 marks.
