CAPF Cutoff 2024: The Union Public Service Commission will soon release the CAPF Cutoff 2024 on its official website. The cutoff will be released after the declaration of the UPSC CAPF Result 2024. UPSC successfully conducted the CAPF exam 2024 on August 4, 2024. UPSC can announce the CAPF result 2024 in the last week of August 2024. The CAPF cutoff is released in the form of marks secured by the last recommended candidates. The candidates with seniority in age will be given first preference according to the CAPF tie-breaking principle whenever two or more candidates receive equal overall scores. The commission will include candidates to the reserve list who meet the cutoff and are on the merit list but do not meet the vacancy threshold. CAPF Cutoff 2024

The last recommended candidates' scores, as released by the commission, make up the CAPF cutoff. Candidates should also look at the CAPF previous year's cutoffs to get a general idea of the range of marks they should aim for in order to make it to the final merit list.

Factors Determining CAPF Cutoff 2024

There are several factors that determine the cutoff for the Central Armed Police Force exam. Hence, the cutoff may vary each year depending on those factors. These factors are:

  • Difficulty Level of the Exam
  • The number of students appeared for the exam
  • Number of vacancies released

How to Check the CAPF Cutoff?

After the selection process is over, the CAPF exam cutoff is made public. Candidates can view the score obtained by the last recommended candidate in a PDF that has been released. If there are any reserve list candidates, their information will also be included in the cutoff PDF. The following is a list of the steps to check the cutoff:

  • Visit the official website of UPSC
  • Under the Examination Tab, click on Cut off Marks sub-tab
  • Candidates will see a list of exam whose cutoff marks has been released
  • Click on the link against the CAPF exam for the year for which cutoff has been released
  • You will be able to view the PDF on your screen.
  • Download and save the PDF for future reference.
