Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023  notification has been released on the official website of the Indian Coast Guard (ICG). Candidates who wish to apply for the post of Navik (General Duty), Navik (Domestic Branch), and Yantrik can do so by September 22, 2023 (5:30 pm). All candidates, except SC/ST candidates, must pay an application fee of INR 300 online using net banking or a Visa, Master, Maestro, or Rupay credit or debit card. Only candidates who have successfully paid the examination fee and are eligible for a fee waiver will receive an e-admit card for the examination.

The recruitment examination will be conducted in four stages. The first stage is the Computer Based Examination that all applicants must take, regardless of the position they are applying for. On the basis of the candidate's performance in the first stage, they will be invited to the second stage, which includes a physical fitness test, document verification, a re-assessment for inconsistent performers, and an initial medical examination.

The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) will then prepare an all-India merit list based on the candidates' performance in Stage I and Stage II, and send an e-admit card for Stage III (final medicals at INS Chilka) to the candidates who rank high enough in the merit list, based on the number of vacancies available and the ratio decided by the ICG. During the fourth and the final stage, all candidate documents and educational certificates will be checked. Candidates must pass all four stages to be selected for final training at INS Chilka.

  • If you are already registered, log in with your credentials. If you are not registered, create an account.

Note: Candidates can only apply for one post that is either Navik (DB) or Navik (GD) or Yantrik (Mechanical) or Yantrik (Electrical) or Yantrik (Electronics) in one recruitment cycle. If a candidate submits multiple applications in the same recruitment cycle, only the most recent application will be accepted. All previous applications will be rejected.

Indian Coast Guard 2023: Selection Process

The selection process for the post of Navik (General Duty), Navik (Domestic Branch) and Yantrik is divided into 4 main stages which are as follows:

Stage I: Computer Based Examination

This is the first stage of the recruitment process, a written exam that all applicants must take, regardless of the position they are applying for.

Stage II: Adaptability Test, Physical Fitness Test & Initial Medical Examination
