Principal L N Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research, Mumbai is one of the well known private B-schools of the country. Welingkar Mumbai offers a range of full-time, executive, doctoral and distance learning programmes in management.

Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is the flagship programme of Welingkar Mumbai. The other programmes of the institute are PGDM in e-Business, Business Design, Healthcare, Retail Management, Rural Management, Media & Entertainment and Research & Business Analytics. There are also some executive and doctoral programmes offered at the Welingkar.

Admission to the PGDM programmes are based on the scores of CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT and ATMA. Interested candidates must have a valid score in any of these national level entrance examinations and must have completed bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution. Shortlisted candidates have to appear for a personal interview. Welingkar’s PhD programme is  affiliated to the University of Mumbai. The admission to the doctoral programme is as per the norms of the Mumbai University.
