NIT Puducherry Courses: Eligibility, Seat-matrix , Fee structure, Placement statistics and Selection criteria

National Institute of Technology Puducherry offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level courses through its five departments of engineering, three departments of science and a department of humanities and social sciences. The NIT Puducherry offers BTech at the undergraduate level, MTech and MSc at postgraduate level and MTech by research and PhD courses. Additionally, the institute has permission to admit students for 4 years Integrated Teachers Education- B.Sc. B.Ed program with an intake of 50 students.    

BTech Admissions at the NIT Puducherry are based on the scores of the JEE Main Examination conducted by NTA. For the MTech admissions, GATE scores are taken into consideration and the common counselling process is CCMT. Similarly, valid IIT-JAM scores are mandatory for the MSC courses and seats for the programmes are allocated through CCMN counselling.
