HBSE 12th Result 2024: Steps to Check Result & Previous Year Statistics

HBSE 12th Result 2024: The Board of School Education, Haryana is expected to release the HBSE 12th result 2024 in May 2024. The results, which will be declared on the HBSE official website, are provisional in nature. Candidates need to collect their original marksheets from their respective schools. 

Regular candidates can check their results on the official website using their roll number and date of birth as login credentials. Private students can either use their roll number or enter their name, father’s and mother’s name, date of birth in the login window to access their results. The result marksheet consists of several details such as subject-wise marks and grades, overall CGPA and total marks, and result status. 

Students need a score of at least 33% to clear the HBSE 12th Board Exam 2024. As per previous year's statistics, an overall pass percentage of 81.65% has been recorded in the HBSE senior secondary examination 2023. This year, the pass percentage of girls is 87.11% whereas for boys, the pass percentage is 76.43%. The pass percentage for the HBSE Class 12 examinations in 2022 was 87.08%. In the previous year, a pass percentage of 90.51% was recorded for girls whereas for boys, the pass percentage was 83.96%.

The HBSE Class 12 results declared on the HBSE official website are provisional in nature. Candidates need to collect their original marksheets from their respective schools. Students who are not satisfied with the results can apply for result scrutiny and get their answer sheets re-evaluated.

The result marksheet will mention the marks and grades obtained in each subject, as well as the overall CGPA and total marks. Students need to login using their credentials such as roll number and date of birth to access the results from the HBSE official website. In order to score well in the HBSE 12th board exam, thorough preparation is required. Regular candidates can download their HBSE Class 12 results through the steps given below.

Step 1 : Students are required to visit the official website of HBSE

Step 2 : Click on the results tab at the top menu bar of HBSE main website

Step 3 : A results page will appear on screen

Step 4 : Under all results, click on: sr.secondary (academic) exam result March-2024

Step 5 : Select exam type - regular

Step 6 : Enter roll number, date of birth and captcha text

Step 7 : Click on - search result

Steps to Download HBSE 12th Result 2024 ( Private Students)

Private candidates can follow the steps given below to download the HBSE Class 12 results.

Step 1 : Candidates are required to go to the HBSE official website

Step 2 : On the top menu bar of HBSE main website, click on the results tab

Step 3 : Under all results, select - sr.secondary (academic) exam result March-2024

Step 4 : Select exam type - private

Step 5 : Enter roll number or name, father’s and mother’s name, date of birth

Step 6 : Enter the captcha text and click on- search result

HBSE 12th Result: Previous Years' Statistics

In 2023, the overall pass percentage recorded is 81.65%. The pass percentage for girls in HBSE 12th exam 2023 is 87.11% whereas for boys, it is 76.43%. In the 2022 HBSE Class 12 examinations, 87.08% was the pass percentage recorded for regular candidates whereas 73.28% was the pass percentage for private candidates. In the previous year’s senior secondary examinations, a pass percentage of 90.51% was recorded for girls whereas for boys, the pass percentage was 83.96%. 

Applying for Result Scrutiny

Students who are not satisfied with their results can apply for result scrutiny once the re-evaluation forms are released by the HBSE official website. The re-evaluation forms will be available within a few days of the result declaration. Candidates will be required to pay a fee for each of the subjects’ results which they are applying to get re-checked. After the answer sheets are re-evaluated, the marksheet is updated if there are any changes in marks. Post result scrutiny, the updated marks are final and cannot be further modified.
