Candidate must be either be: 

A citizen of India

OR

A subject of Nepal

OR

A subject of Bhutan

OR

A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1-01-62 to become a permanent resident of India

 OR

Indian-origin people who came from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire & Ethiopia to permanently settle in India

Note: Candidates belonging to the categories b, c, d & e must submit the required eligibility certificate provided by the Department of Home & Justice, Government of India.

RSMSSB Eligibility Criteria 2024

Candidate should have completed their degree from any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of Central or State legislature in India or any other educational institution established by an Act of Parliament or declared under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission  Act, 1956 to be deemed to be a University; or possess any equivalent qualification recognised by the Government in consultation with the Commission

OR

Candidate must have passed the Intermediate Examination of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants, Kolkata

OR

Candidate must have passed the Intermediate Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, New Delhi

AND

Candidate must have acquired “O” or higher level certificate from DOEACC (NIELIT) that is controlled by the Department of Electronics, Government of India

OR

Candidate must have acquired a certificate in Computer Operator and Programming Assistant/Data Preparation and Computer Software provided by the National/State Council of Vocational Training Scheme

OR

Candidate must have acquired a degree/diploma in Computer Science/Computer Application/Information Technology from a duly recognised university or any other institute recognised by the Government of India

OR

Candidate must have acquired a diploma in Computer Science & Electronics/Information Technology from any polytechnic institute recognised by the Government of India

OR

Candidate must have acquired a certificate in Information Technology from Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited that functions under the Vardhaman Mahavir Open University Quota

Candidate must have knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagri script and also about the culture of Rajasthan

A candidate who is appearing for the final year examination for the completion of their degree can also apply for the RSMSSB recruitment exam, however, such candidates will have to submit the required eligibility certificate to the concerned authorities as and when required

Details

Physical Eligibility

• Candidate must be physically and mentally fit to be able to successfully carry out the duties assigned to them
• If a candidate is selected for RSMSSB recruitment, they will have to submit their medical certificate issued by the head doctor and medical officer of the district where the candidate resides or a medical issued or medical certificate issued by the medical jurist of the district where the candidate resides 

Character

• Candidate must possess a good character to be eligible for RSMSSB recruitment
• f a candidate is selected for RSMSSB service allocation, they will be required to submit a  character certificate issued by the principal/Education Officer of the university/School/College last attended by the candidate 
• Candidate will also have to submit certificates of two such reference persons provided that such certificates were not issued 6 months before the release of the RSMSSB application form and it should also not be issued by any of the candidate’s relatives
