National Institute of Technology, Manipur offers graduate, post-graduate, and Ph.D. programs in the core engineering areas. At present, the Institute is offering five B. Tech. programs, five M. Tech. programs, M.Sc. program in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and Ph.D. program in Engineering, Sciences, and Humanities & Social Sciences.
The NIT Manipur offers BTech and MTech programmes by its departments of Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
NIT Manipur admits students for its BTech programme on the basis of JEE Main scores and seats to the shortlisted candidates are allotted through JoSAA counselling. Similarly, for MTech and MSc admissions, scores of GATE and IIT-JAM examinations are taken respectively. The common counselling for all the NITs is CCMT for MTech and CCMN for MSc.
