Dr. D.Y Patil Vidyapeeth Placements: With decades of excellence in fostering a strong network between prominent companies and industry professionals, DPU acts as a bridge between students and industry by tracing impressive placement records over years. DPU has a proactive Training and Placement Cell, working relentlessly to make students ready to excel in the job market.

Regular seminars, sessions with industry professionals, workshops and internship opportunities are held by the university, providing students endless opportunities. The Training and Placement cell strives to help students to carry forward their goals and shaping their future to leave a remarkable mark across various fields by acquiring employment seeking skills and providing dream placements. Along with the placement for final year students the university also offers students enrolled in second and third year with internship opportunities in diverse sectors, usually lasting for 8 weeks i.e, summer internship offered to students in their summer break helping students to develop professional experience in the corporate world.

As per the NIRF reports 2023, a total of 925 from UG and 77 from PG courses secured placement in top recruiting companies with a median package of INR 6.3 LPA and INR 5.4 LPA, whereas the highest MBA placement stood INR 13.50 LPA in the year 2023. The batch of 2023 witnessed 99% of students securing placement across various industries and 70% of students have attained placements for the year 2024 and the placement process

DPU Placement team liaises with the recruiting companies to arrange placement related discussions, negotiations and invitation, so that all the stakeholders involved in the process achieve a high success rate.
