The engineering exam season started with the release of the application form for various entrance examinations including JEE Main and VITEEE. The JEE Main 2025 is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency for admission to NIT, IITs, IIITs, GFTIs, and various other private engineering colleges. However, few engineering institutes offer admission to B.Tech programs solely based on their entrance exams. One such institute is the Vellore Institute of Technology – which conducts the VITEEE exam every year for shortlisting candidates for their prestigious B.Tech course.
The JEE Main exam 2025 is one of the competitive examinations in the country where almost 10 lakh students appear every year. Not only this, specifically for admission to IITs, only JEE advanced scores are considered; while NITs consider JEE Main score. However, with the NIRF ranking of #11, VIT Vellore is considered a better option than many NITs.
