The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to conduct the JEE Main 2025 exam for Session 1 from January 22, 2025 to January 31, 2025. Today, the JEE Main application correction window will also close for candidates who have registered for the exam. With a minuscule time remaining for the exam, candidates should immediately start prepping for the competitive exam like JEE Main. Obviously, any serious candidate would have started the JEE Main preparation long back; however, with fine-tuning, it is still possible to give it a try (at least in the April session).
This article will especially cater to the Physics preparation for the JEE Main exam 2025. The Physics section of the JEE Mains assesses a student’s grasp of core concepts, problem-solving abilities, and the application of physical principles. As one of the three key sections, along with Mathematics and Chemistry, it plays a vital role for aspiring engineers.

JEE Main Physics Preparation Tips
This article will not cover a comprehensive strategy for JEE Main Physics; instead, it will focus on what can be done to score well in the exam with the limited time remaining.
Get Syllabus PDF – First, get the official JEE Main Syllabus PDF and go through the Physics section of it. Know the topics and subtopics covered in the official syllabus PDF.
High and Low-weightage Topics – Filter out high and low-weightage topics based on the previous years’ trends. The objective is to devote limited time to the preparation of those topics from where chances of questions being asked are high.
Well-versed Topics – Make a list of topics in which you are confident, concepts are clear, and able to solve a handful of questions if asked from these topics. Also, it is important to check whether these chapters come from a high-weightage or low-weightage section.
Preparation Strategy – Strategize your preparation for the JEE Main 2025 exam by focusing on two key aspects: high-weightage topics and the topics you are most confident in. If these overlap, dedicate the most time to them. For low-weightage topics you are confident in, complete their revision every 6-7 days and prioritize high-weightage chapters.
Scenarios | Preparation Tips |
High-weightage Topic & Well-versed | Allot maximum amount of time for preparation, Complete focus on these topics |
High-weightage Topic & Not well-versed | Devote more time to such topics; however, keep revising low-weightage topics in which you are confident |
All Topics & Not well-versed | Start with high-weightage chapters + learn basic concepts + solve multiple mock tests + practise previous year question papers |
