NEET SS Eligibility 2025: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) conducts the NEET Super Speciality exam annually. The examination is for the students who wish to take admission into Doctorate of Medicine (DM) and Master of Chirurgie (MCh) courses in 156 institutions in the country.
To be able to appear for the NEET SS exam, candidates must first check the eligibility criteria set by NBE. Candidates who do not meet the eligibility requirements will not be allowed to fill out the NEET SS application form.

NEET SS Eligibility 2025: Qualifications
NEET SS aspirants interested in appearing for the examination are required to fulfill the following qualification requirements in order to register:
- Candidates must hold a valid postgraduate degree in MD, MD, or DNB or any equivalent programme.
- Appearing candidates must be registered with the Medical Council of India or the State Medical Council.
- Candidates completing their postgraduate degree after the deadline given by NBE will not be allowed to register for the exam. They can appear for the next session.
NEET SS Eligibility 2025: Foreign Nationals
Foreign nationals including Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) candidates can apply for NEET SS exam with the following eligibility conditions:
- Foreign national candidates are not required to register with the State Medical Council or Medical Council of India, given that they are already registered with the respective authorities in their country.
- These candidates will be provided with temporary registration from MCI for the duration of their postdoctoral course completion. The temporary registration will be subject to the condition that the candidate is registered with an equivalent authority as MCI in their country.

All kinds of private medical colleges, universities and deemed universities accept NEET SS exam scores for admission. Moreover, armed forces medical service institutions also accept NEET SS scores.

NEET SS Application Form 2025
Candidates who fulfil the above given eligibility criteria will be able to fill their NEET SS application forms online. Here is how candidates will be able to register online at the NBE website:
Step 1: Register online on the NEET SS portal. Candidates have to enter their details including email address and mobile number to register.
Step 2: After getting registered, candidates can fill the application form by logging in to the NBE website.
Step 3: Candidates will have to upload the required scanned documents online including a passport size photograph, scanned signature, and scanned thumb impression.
Step 4: Now, candidates have to enter their exam centre preference in the application form.
Step 5: Finally, candidates have to pay an application fee of INR 4,250 after filling out the application form
