The All India Entrance Examination for Design (AIEED) is a national entrance exam conducted by the ARCH College of Design & Business for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate design programs. This exam is designed to assess candidates' creativity, design thinking, and aptitude for various fields related to fashion and design. 

The AIEED is conducted over multiple dates and follows a two stage selection process. Stage I is a Creative Ability Test (CAT) and a General Ability Test (GAT). Shortlisted candidates progress to a virtual interaction with the panel. Lastly, the results are declared, based on which final admissions are offered.

To accommodate candidates from across the globe, the entire process is conducted online as well as offline, making it accessible to both domestic and international students. AIEED 2025 Dates 

The All India Entrance Examination for Design (AIEED) 2025 follows a structured schedule that spans several months. The application process typically kicks off in November and runs through August, during which candidates can register and book their exam slots. AIEED is conducted in different phases, enabling applicants to appear for the exam at a time that suits their convenience. The result for each phase is released within a week after the exam and qualified candidates can then appear for their personal interviews. AIEED 2025: Eligibility Criteria 

The eligibility criteria to appear for AIEED 2025 differs for undergraduate and postgraduate students. 

• For Undergraduate (UG) Level Courses, students who have appeared for or cleared their Class 12 (from CBSE, ICSE, IB, State Boards, NIOS, or any equivalent board as per UGC guidelines) are eligible to participate in the AIEED screening for Design Studies. Additionally, students currently in Class 11 can also take the AIEED 2024 exam. If they qualify, they will be eligible for direct admission in the academic year 2025 after successfully completing the interaction and Portfolio of Assessment (PoA) stages.
• For Postgraduate Level Courses, graduates or students currently pursuing graduation in any discipline from a recognized university are eligible to apply.

AIEED 2025: Registration

The registration process for AIEED 2025 is a simple yet crucial step for aspiring candidates aiming to pursue design courses. The application form can be filled out online at aieed.com, and candidates must ensure they provide accurate information. Registration is open to both undergraduate and postgraduate candidates. Candidates will need to fill in their personal details, educational qualifications, and select their course preferences during the application process. 

Steps to fill the AIEED Application Form 2025

• Go to the AIEED 2025 official website, aieed.com and look for the registration link.
• Candidates must create a new account using a valid email ID and phone number to start the registration process.
• Enter full name, date of birth, contact details, and other required personal information.
• Provide information regarding your qualifications such as one’s current or last completed class, board, and percentage.
• Upload necessary documents in the correct format and size.
• Now, candidates must choose their desired course (UG/PG) and preferred mode of examination and examination centre (if required).
• Complete the payment of the registration fee to successfully submit the application. It is advised to download the submitted application form for future use. 

AIEED 2025 Documents required for application

• Recent Passport-size photograph
• Scanned signature
• Scanned copy of Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets (for UG courses)
• Scanned copy of graduation marksheets (for PG courses)
• Valid ID proof (Aadhar card, passport, or any government-issued ID)
• Proof of date of birth
• Additional documents for reserved category (if applicable)

AIEED Registration Fee 2025

The application fee for AIEED 2025 is ₹3000 for all candidates, regardless of the course they are applying for. The fee can be paid through online methods such as credit/debit cards or net banking. 

AIEED 2025: Selection Process

After the submission of the AIEED 2025 Application Form, candidates will receive an email with further instructions. The selection process involves several stages designed to assess the candidate’s potential as a design student. 

Stage I: Psychological Endowments for Design (PED)

In the first stage, candidates must complete tasks related to Psychological Endowments for Design (PED), followed by the Creative Aptitude Test for Art (CATA) tasks. Along with these, they will also submit a Portfolio of Abilities (PoA) and Statement of Purpose (SoP).

Stage II: Interaction

Candidates who successfully complete Stage I will be invited to an interaction stage, where they will get the opportunity to present themselves and their work further.

Stage III: Result Declaration 

After completing the previous stages, results will be declared based on a candidate’s overall performance in PED, CATA tasks, the interaction, and the submitted PoA and SoP.

AIEED 2025: Exam Pattern 

AIEED 2025 is divided into three parts- the General Aptitude Test (GAT), Creativity Ability Test (CAT), and the Personal Interaction & Portfolio Review. Candidates who wish to pursue a Bachelors of Design programme must familiarise themselves with the AIEED 2025 exam pattern. 

AIEED 2025: Result 

AIEED Result 2025 will be released by ARCH College of Design & Business soon after the completion of the examination. Typically, the result is declared within a week of all the stages of exam completion on AIEED’s official website, aieed.com. The result is released in the form of a scorecard with the marks achieved by the candidate and their personal details like name and roll number. Candidates can check the result by logging in with their registered email or phone number.
